"Cypress Hill" is good rap. "2 pak" is just "for the middle class taste" rap :d

Brit and maria suck both (this is my opinion) but I think you should agree on the fact that they are spread even in McDonalds...

Actually, Tool, technically, is near the perfection. This guys are mastering the change of rythms and odd rythms. The only other group that is comparable is Dream theatre (the keyboard is armenian), but i don't like their music that much.

Derek Sherinian is not part of Dream Theater anymore. Jordan Rudess is now the keyboard player. Yes both Tool and Dream theater are excellent with rhythms but you should check out the bands that influenced those two: King Crimson and Rush, respectively. I love Tool and D.T. but rhythm is half the battle.

Would you suggest me an album for each of these groups (DT, Rush and KC) in order to discover the bands please ?

Well by D.T. I meant Dream Theater and you know them. I was saying that Tool is influenced by King Crimson and Dream Theater is influenced by Rush.

King Crimson has been around since 1969 and Rush has been around since 1974, so it is difficult to pick out single albums for either. But I am going to try...

Rush: Most people's first album is "Moving Pictures" and it is a pretty good start to give you an idea of what Rush is. "Signals" and "Permanent Waves" are good to follow. They released a two CD retrospective album called "Rush: Chronicles" which takes a couple songs from every album up until the release of that two disc set.

King Crimson: It is especially difficult to chose albums for this band because they can be so different. "ConstruKction of Light" (2000); "Thrak" (1995); "Red" (1974); "In the Court of the Crimson King" (1969); "Lark's Tongue in Aspic" (1973). Probably in that order.
