Jerry Tarkanian----> Former basketball coach at UNLV (until 1992). Took UNLV to the NCAA Final Four four times and got the national title in 1990. Also used to coah for fresno state I think it was. His son was assisstant coach there too.

Rien Long - DE on New England, I think. Played for Washington St. last year. I had no idea he's Armenian but my dad said he read an article about him in some Armenian magazine and he has a tattoo of one of the letters from the alphabet so...

Rex Kalamian - former Clippers assistant coach

the Kazarians - Tight end for UCLowns so obviously he sucks and his dad who's known as the "Towel Waver". I haven't seen the dad in action though.

Okay, none of them are popular but there aren't enough Armos in sports to differentiate between popular and not.

Gary Yepremian was the dolphins kicker.
Steve Sarkissian, BYU QB, current USC QB's coach

NBC used to have a lame "The More You Know" informational announcements. Your post sounded a lot like one. Or like the "this is your brain on drugs" announcement. I can't be drop dead hilarious every time, I'm only human.

Eh, your choice. But I'm still Armenian.

And Patlajan, I now get your point. A link to a "the more you know" poster would have worked better. Mais bon, you are forgiven, as you have caused many laughters in the past.
