Well, it's a an *interesting* list. Many people there that I haven't even heard about, and many people who I don't understand why they are even there.

Vano Siradeghian? The guy that Armenia placed on INTERPOL?

Who are Vazgen Khachikyan, Atom Mkhitarian and Astghik Avetisian? And while I like Tigran Torosyan, he is the deputy speaker of Parliament, and the speaker himself, Arthur Baghdasarian, is not even there..

Now, the world of arts...I think your field is too broad, because when you are covering over 600 years of history (dating back from Sayat Nova), you're bound to miss a few people. In paintings, Hagop Hagopian and Minas Avetisian, for example, are a lot more prominent than Sarkis Hamalbashian or John Nakashian. And I would definitely add Baruyr Sevag and Vahan Tekeyan in the list of authors. As for music, I'd consider both Constantine Orbelian's (uncle being famous Armenian jazz composer/conductor fellow, and nephew being the conductor of either the Moscow State or the Moscow Philaharmonic), then you have other composers like Spendiarian and Babajanian, conductors like Dourian (now with the Moscow Symphonic Orchestra) and even Djknavorian, who's made quite a name for himself with the Armenian Philaharmonic. As for singers, Gohar Gasparyan, Badalian, Ophelia Hambartsumian...Actors: Khoren Abrahamian, Sos Sargsyan, Frounze....all these people, I think, should deserve more recognition than John Bizelkjian or Vahe Berberian, for example (although I like Vahe very much :) ).
