I was doing some research on the 40 days of Musa-ler, and this page from the usanogh forum came out as one of the search results. I began to read the thread, and after reading "jermag dgha's" post, and his letter to Peter Balakian, I was amazed and overwhelmed by his sincerity and devotion.

Thought I'd share. Here it is. and take a look at his site as well, extremely talented guy.

Wow that was really cool i actually read the whole letter. Doesnt it feel good to have otars appreciate our culture and history so much. When i read the part where he said that people told him that he was more Armenian than a lot of Armenians i couldnt help but completely agree. I wish i could meet this guy.

I read the book many years ago. The book is very interesting at some parts but can also be quite boring sometimes. It's a great story and would probably make a fantastic movie.

I deeply and madly respect the guy named VAHE.

I’m not of Armenian descent - unless you can trace back far enough to some single named wanderers in the Caucasus Mountains with whom I share a trickle of blood. To be honest I did not even know there was a place called Armenia or a people called Armenians until into my high school years. I sat next to a student named Vahe and I heard snippets about his family history throughout high school - I remember asking him to say his last name for me over and over again because I simply loved the rhythmic sound of it - how it skipped so much like a stone on the surface of a lake. It felt good to say it. It felt good to hear it.

The guy is really a *chermak* :) .God bless!
