What are the chances for the honorable Ahmadinejad to fund the church's rebuilding? Such an action would be great public relations for the Iranian state.
This is the first time I hear about this church. Do you know more about it? any more detail photos? And so on. From this photo it looks like a little castle. Maybe it was a monaster

What period/year is this church from?

I had never heard of this church before.
Iranian authorities have always done their best concerning the restoration of Armenian churches in here. A few years ago they did a big job with a huge budget on Tadei vank (of course with the help of Armenian architectures), also they have been working on S.Vank’s church in Isfahan. They have always shown great interest to solve some of the problems of our community both during the presidency of Ahmadinejad and Khatami.
As you might know, Ahmadinejad was the mayor of Tehran before his election for the presidency, during that time, he helped a lot financially our biggest club Ararat and its football team which was once one of the best in the country. Although many criticize him blindly, I appreciate some of his actions.
i can't see a church in the photo, it might be a castle.
