You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

Defense Minister’s Spokesperson: Process of supplying weapons to Armenia by Russia already started | ARMENPRESS Armenian News Agency

YEREVAN, MAY 3, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Defense Minister’s Spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan said the process of supplying weapons to Armenia by Russia with the loan agreement has already started during an interview with journalists on May 3. “The process of supplying weapons to Armenia with $200 million loan has already started, but I cannot say what is being supplied”, Hovhannisyan stated.

He also noted that the program of recruitment of the Armenian Armed forces with new military equipment is not related to the Russian loan, it did not start with the loan and will not end with it. “We have repeatedly stated Armenia is planning to rearm its Army, and there was no talk about the loan during that time. We have obtained large number of weapons and ammunition without a loan. As you know, we have stated that we have weapons in our arsenal which are very important and many will desire to have such weapons”, Hovhannisyan said.

He also added that Armenia with this loan agreement will receive not only weapons, but also operational reconnaissance devices which do not shot but play an important role.

The Russian Federation will allocate a 200 million USD loan with privileged conditions to Armenia for the financing of the military supply of Russian production. The agreement defines that the state export loan is provided with the term of 13 years, during the first three years of which with privileged conditions, 3% interest rate. The Republic of Armenia will co-finance in the framework of the agreement with 10% of the agreement value with advance payments.

Armenian soldiers’ bodies not decapitated or desecrated, says Azerbaijan

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The bodies of the soldiers handed over to Armenia have not been decapitated or desecrated, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told APA on May 3.

All the bodies of the Armenian soldiers were handed over in the presence of international observers, and no traces of violence were detected on the bodies, Azerbaijan’s ministry said.

Earlier, Armenian media has reported that an Azerbaijani serviceman allegedly beheaded an Armenian soldier and that the same serviceman was awarded by Azerbaijan’s president. Armenians also spread the photos of the serviceman.

The defense ministry stated that the photos released by Armenian media are fake, calling this another provocation against Azerbaijani armed forces.

“The serviceman in photo actually took part in military operations. As he was the commander of an artillery platoon, he didn’t join the military operations on the frontline,” Azerbaijan’s ministry noted.

“It is ridiculous that the Armenian murderers, who are proud of massacring 63 children and scores of women and elderly people with special brutality in Khojaly town, compare themselves with us,” the defense ministry said. “It’s only typical of Armenians to make heroes out of those who commit atrocities against humanity.”

Azerbaijani military officer: I destroyed 12 armed vehicles of Armenian Army

Seeing our strength, Armenian servicemen dropped their guns and fled, says Azerbaijani officer.

In early April, the Azerbaijani Army retook a number of heights in various directions during a counter offensive operation aimed at preventing the provocation of Armenian armed forces. One of these heights is located near the Tapgaragoyunlu village of Goranboy and Talish village of Terter region. The Azerbaijani Army showed great courage in liberating those strategic heights.

One of the military officers who stood out with their bravery in the fighting is captain Mirdamet Baghiyev.

“In early April, we marched on the Armenian Army in order to prevent their provocation, eliminating many of their personnel and armed vehicles. After seeing our strength, they dropped their guns and fled. The personnel’s morale was high enough. I destroyed 12 wheeled and armed vehicles of Armenian units,” he said.

The military officer said they at any time expect the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s order to liberate our occupied lands.

For his bravery on the battlefield, Mirdamet Baghiyev was awarded the third-degree order “For service to the motherland” under Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev’s order.

Just the modern weaponry utilize the cost efficiency and of course the percentage of accuracy , maintenance is important factor and the personal the army must allocate from mentance till proper operational usage is also important factor .

From what I see, the maintenance department in the Armenia Army is pretty good.

Armenia to Weigh Breakaway Region's Recognition, Raising Tension

Armenia’s government will discuss a bill that would recognize the independence of the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region, a move that risks adding to tensions in the aftermath of a four-day war between Armenians and Azerbaijan over the breakaway territory.
Ministers in Yerevan will meet Thursday to debate the draft law, proposed by two opposition lawmakers including a former prime minister, according to the agenda posted on the government’s website. Nagorno-Karabakh’s recognition by Armenia would end the peace process, Hikmat Haciyev, a spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, said in an e-mailed statement.

The fighting in early April left more than 140 people dead in the bloodiest episode of the conflict since a truce signed in 1994. The cease-fire halted a war that claimed 30,000 lives and created 1 million refugees as Armenians took over the region and seven surrounding districts of Azerbaijan after the collapse of the Soviet Union. International mediators have failed to negotiate a lasting peace since then in a conflict that threatens to disrupt a new energy corridor between central Asia and Europe. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said April 23 that it’s “unreasonable” to resume negotiations for now.
“It would be a mistake to recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh at this stage,” Richard Giragosian, director of the Regional Studies Center in Yerevan, said by phone. Such a move is ultimately unlikely, as the threat of recognition provides the government with more leverage, he said.
The recognition would scuttle the peace talks and could pave the way for an Azeri offensive to regain control over the region, Elxan Shahinoglu, the head of the Atlas research group in Baku, said on Facebook.

Armenia says that Nagorno-Karabakh’s Christian Armenians, who declared independence from largely-Muslim Azerbaijan in 1991, have the right to self-determination. Azerbaijan demands respect for its territorial integrity.

Azerbaijan, the former Soviet Union’s third largest-oil producer, has attracted more than $50 billion from BP Plc and its partners in recent years. BP’s oil pipeline which carried 720,000 barrels per day from Baku to the Mediterranean last year, runs fewer than 30 miles from the conflict zone at one point.

Azeri force concentration more massive than that of April: military

                      May 3, 2016 - 15:37 AMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan continues army redeployments along the line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh, the latest concentration of troops being more massive than that of the early April, a spokesperson for Armenia's Defense Ministry said Tuesday, May 3.
Artsrun Hovhannisyan declined to give further details on Azeri moves, however, noting that the Armenian intelligence keeps all the developments in focus.
Also, Hovhannisyan refuted the rumors on mobilization in Armenia, adding that “a corresponding statement will be issued in case such a decision is made.”
Further commenting on the situation, the spokesperson advised against discussing information on losing or regaining control over some military positions.
“You would thus help the military a lot,” Hovhannisyan said.
According to him, currently there are no exact reports as to how much territory Armenia lost in the course of the clashes in early April.
