1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Good for us. The more pisrael dumps its crap into azerbaijan the more Iran will side with us. Also, everything that goes into azeristan it will be analyzed by the Iran spies network.

I'm surprised Azerbaijan even bought these. I believe these are not intended for us as they are only designed for short and medium range home made rockets. I mean they couldn't even take out home made rockets. How will they take out our ballistic missiles ? I believe this sale had nothing to do with us. I think it's an Israeli power play against Iran that "yes , you might have proxies in our neighbourhood, but we got one in yours. " That is good news for Armenia. They step on there own toes which is quite funny. Armenia just needs to follow Iran's example. Build underground tunnels and build an arsenal ..

Military exercises for the command headquarters took place in the second army corps of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia

            3 OCTOBER 2016
A command headquarters military exercise took place at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia from September 27th to the 29th, the aim of which was to assess the level of preparedness of officers during instances of high combat awareness, train the staff of military bases and battalions, increase the decision-making, combat assignment, and combat operations capabilities of staff, and enhance the cooperation between the commanding headquarters of military bases and battalions.

The military exercise took place in three stages. The subordinate military bases and subdivisions were brought to a level of high alertness, the deployment area was occupied, the command and control points were deployed and furnished, the preliminary defensive combat assignments were made, issues were clarified, and the head of the military exercise was briefed on the status of the defensive combat. The possible actions of the adversary were clarified, and all necessary documents for the organization of defensive combat were formed and approved. Operations including the conduct of defensive combat, repelling an attack, destruction of the adversary's forces, counterattack and restoration of the front line were simulated.

While summarizing the results of the exercise, the head of the army corps, Colonel Davit Manukyan expressed that he values the actions carried out by the subdivisions, highlighting the fact that the positive results are the product of daily dedication and hard work.

Israel is to soon supply Azerbaijan with 'Iron Dome' air defense system.
According to 1news.az, MP Yevda Abramov said the system is ready for being delivered to Azerbaijan.
"This system will not allow Iskander rockets to fall on the ground," he said.

Who writes this stuff ? This system will not let Iskander Rockets fall on the ground. Hahaha ... Don't they know that Iskanders are not rockets but a missile.? Azeris need to know that the Iskander is a weapon that is self-propelled or directed by remote control, carrying conventional or nuclear explosive. It is not a rocket.

The likes of Shant prefer insults to thinking. There are very good reasons to suspect collusion on at least some levels regarding the April war and the lack of hostilities since then. I also saw the vid of the azeris pouring in while our side filmed it and did nothing to stop it. That is hard evidence there and not mere speculation but it is increasingly clear that todays generation does not value facts, evidence, reason,..it is all about "how I feel" This is the reason why the likes of Vrej are able to do so much damage because they do not need facts or real evidence to stir up the pot.
                    As for the new appointments I found a interesting article that seems to make some sense out of this situation and is worth a read;

YEREVAN, October 4. /ARKA/. Alexander Iskandaryan, the head of the Caucasus Institute, commenting on Monday’s appointment of Vigen Sargsyan as Armenian defense minister, said that the defense minister should be able to represent Armenia properly in western countries and to work intensively with Russia along with that.

In an interview with Novosti Armenia, Iskandaryan said that Armenia cooperates with Russia, buys ammunition mostly from Russia and in the Collective Security Treaty Organization it deals mainly with Russia.

“Vigen Sargsyan has experience in interaction with Russian politicians and military authorities,” he said. “The appointment of Vigen Sargsyan shows that this cooperation is taken seriously.”

Iskansaryan finds interesting also the appointment of Movses Hakobyan as chief of the General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces.

“This is a dream ticket,” he said in his interview. “It is clear that after the April escalation certain conclusions are being made and certain changes are being made in the defense ministry, just like in the entire defense scheme. They are connected with armament supply, the military parade on September 21, changes in personnel and changes of things on the border.”

Iskandaryan said that a classic western configuration has been used in these appointments – the minister is a political figure co-opted into the defense ministry by the political leadership, and on the other side, he is balanced by Movses Hakobyan, a lifetime military man.

In his opinion, the new minister has merits of a quite smart consensual person, who is able to accomplish certain functions, including those connected with negotiation processes, and this is very important. x

“On the other side, military building is an important part of the present security scheme, and training of specialists and officers is needed here as well, and the chief of the General Staff will be doing it,” Iskandaryan said.

Besides, he said, not only in the classic western picture, but also in the Armenian history, the military ministry’s civilian officials were quite successful.
As examples, Iskandaryan pointed out Vazgen Manukyan, Vazgen Sargsyan and Serzh Sargsyan and added that there is a serious sense in the well-known statement: “War is too important to be left to the generals”.

“After all, politicians’ mentality differs from that of military people – it is a little wider,” he said. --0---
