Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Erdogan is playing both sides to gain benefits from each camp. It all started with the West when it pushed turkey to confront Russia in 2015 in shooting down the Russian SU-24, while the US pulled out the Patriot missiles from turkey’s defense system. Also, the failed 2016 coup attempt to topple erdogan. That’s when erdogan realized he was being thrown under the bus by the West. The West and Israel love turkey without erdogan and the Islamist ideologies. They want the old secular turkey. Moving forward, erdogan started to play his game with his rapprochement with Russia and the acquisition of the S-400 system. This was the most terrible equation for us Armenians. We lost our exclusivity with Russia in the region. Personally, I believe Russia has turkey on a shot leash and will happily strike back and put turkey in its place, if it is dumped out of NATO. erdogan ain’t stupid! There is a lot going on around our nation. In the late 80’s Russia made sure we closed the Syunik region from any azeri pipelines towards turkey by getting ALL of Artsakh’s territories. 30 years later Russia is opening that same plug. WHY? One of the biggest scripted games in the last 100 years. NATO lost a wishful Karabakh foothold now that Russia is rolling a full army in the territories. Iran is happy, turkey and azeris are puzzled what is going on. We are getting screwed till Pashinyan is toppled. Israel and the Neocons are hoping Trump will do something crazy to start a conflict with Iran before he leaves (not going to happen).

The world is shaped around power poles. Russia is loosing it. China is coming up. But world have never had 3 or multiple power poles.
Usually world power poles compete against each other.
is turkey in western power side or is it getting out of it. Seems to me the Turkish desire to become the Muslim power in the world will not be allowed. Who needs it? West or China? Nobody. Actually world can never have 3 poles because tilting of one towards any other can decimate any balance. And balanced it has to be.
So will Turkey be put in its place and when?
I cannot fathom erdogan will be allowed in creating a new empire. What do west and Russia gain from it except trouble?

Won’t be long now. I have mentioned this a while ago and now it is available. Soon we will see it on small
Surface-to-air missiles. For now Armenia should buy or create their own.

True that Russia will do what works for Russian interest. Our job is to find smart ways to play the game properly. Example: Russia cornered us with Artsakh? We pull all of our citizen out of Artsakh to Armenia and humiliate them in their own game. They want a route in the south? No way! keep your Artsakh surrounded with turks.

Do we really want a territory surrounded with turks? fluk it! they can keep it unless we shift the borders to attach all the western borders to Armenia and give the turks some of the eastern part up.

Why don’t you guys say the truth???
Putin’s Russia is an oligarchic quazy feudal country based on morbid corruption. And as such It will never stand any democratic or human rights focused country that falls under its circle of influence. It’s as a mortal treat to Russia and its sistem. Russia will not accept any leader in Armenia other than Robert or Serjik type and morbidly corrupt government.
Even LTP was not corrupt enough for Russia.
But even with Serjik in power Russia was treating Armenia as a rag under its feet.
If we are to look to the facts, here's what I see:
1/ Since the first day russian foot stepped on Armenian soil in XVIII cent, our factual presence (depending provinces a majority, as relative majority or very seizable minority) on our milenial homeland reduced from 400.000 Km˛ to now less than 30.000.

2/ Our blind russophilia gave Russia the possibility to pay its partners/rivals (most of the time the Turks) at our expense, regardless ouf our vital interests. From a russian point of view, we are not even supposed to have any, other than any servant. No matter how they behaved, anyway we will remain willingly their slaves, due to our russophilia, they just had to entertain by falsified history books and propagandists.

3/ It is a fact now, that Erdogan's Turkey is by far stronger than Putin's Russia. As a symbol of that basic reality, the openly humiliating shootings of the Su 24 in Syria, their Ambassador in Ankara, and days back, of their Mi 24 in Nakhitchevan. Russia could only smile to the spit on its face, and said it was just raining.

4/ The legend of the might of russian armement, just blow up against western Nato technology at the disposal of the Turks. No matter the russian justifications, russian arms are good, as long as they do not face Nato standards. ( russian arms humiliation in Syria, Lybia, and now Artsakh: The mighty Pantsirs, Tors and S300 were just harmless targets against western technology, no matter russian justifications.... not reminding ME previous wars of the 70-90 s).

5/ Russia thinks it ends victorious, by placing its occupation troops in tiny Artsakh made undefendable, a its mercy, keeping a blackmail possibility on Armenia and Azerbaijan indefinitely. It is a stupid calculus, since Azerbaijan is long ago a turkish province, and the Armenian presence in the tiny enclave around Stepanakert will not last long... at the end of the day Armenians will face reality of the total loss of Artsakh due to Russia, and exclusively Russia, the turks being just the turks. Someday Armenia will finally accept its huge loss, call a cat a cat, turn to the west, specifically the US, and get the hell of the russian yoke from the last remaining parcel of Armenian land, before it is too late. Since it is just a matter of time, for Russia to sell an other part of this tiny remaining land for a barter with the Turks. They sold Garin twice, Kars in 1920, Van in 1915, etc..... now Shushi. Russia will never accept Armenia as an actor, 250 years must be enough....

6/ They exchanged Idlib for Artsakh! What a bright deal.... we will see if there will still be a russian in Syria in 20 years time.

7/ Once Armenia lost, they will have to make deals with the Turks in Crimea or Samara... we will have no interest blocking the turkish communications to Baku via Nakhitchevan, since that's what they imposed to us on their capitulation diktat. Georgia will be paid in due too.....

8/ Last fact about legends of Turkish Russian wars and deals: If we call a cat a cat, from day 1, since those 2 are flirting, by today: only Crimea was lost by the ottomans to Russia, but Russia lost Azerbaijan, Artsakh's most parts, Nakhitchevan and Surmalu to the turks (those were previously Persian provinces), and has a chimerical presence in Syria that is doomed anyway. Who's stronger at the end of the day?

9/ Our last chance, face the reality, no matter its bitterness. Accept that Russia is as dangerous if not more than the turks. Do whatever it takes, using at its maximum our US community's ties, to garantee a direct US protectorat on our remaining 29.000 Km˛, integrate modern western economy, work day and night, as the chinese, train and equip our entire population, no holidays in Turkey, Georgia, or Russia.... and hope for a better day when Russia or Turkey will crumble.

10/ We liberate lands when Russia is weeker, we loose when Russia thinks it is strong enough to sell us....

11/ The strong and malicious Putin managed to loose Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Serbia, and now Belorussia and soon Armenia. His might is Brejniev's might when entering Afganistan. We all do have good russian friends, but sadly, Russia as an empire is our existential enemy. Let's face it.

You guys are so stuck with this equation if one does not like Pashinyan’s policy they should be pro Robert or Serjik. I care less for these corrupt apes and even more for that weak idiot that has no clue what he is doing. Also, do not fool yourself for the West not being corrupt. Look at Trump and his family making millions from Arabs. Biden's son making millions from Ukraine. Hillary and her foundation pay to play. Brits? their whole country is a money shelter for the likes of aliyev. So keep viewing Russia as corrupt and the rest of the world is some democratic valued of an open book of utopia.
