Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

If new Azerbaijani territories are liberated, so to speak, it is a way to plunder and prosper for few more years.
Turkish custom may become not only appealing for us one day, but the only means left for our elite.
Armenia could have used the pretext of war to develop an Arms industry and then use conscripts to build all the roads and irrigation/dam systems in the country like the US Army did. Diaspora money didn't have to build that new highway, the Armenian Army could have done that. We don't need the Americans/Russians to invest in the hydropower systems, the Armenian Army could have done that. Airports all around the country and civil aviation? The Armenian Air Force / Army could have built and maintained them to share with civil aviation. Literally, we could be printing money into the military industrial complex infrastructure of our country instead of just straight up wasting it on corruption.

he biggins by saying that all this was meant against Russia, and ends by it, plus quoting a Tumanian? word warning against any pretentzia against Russia....

If you want facts, the easiyest ones comes to the way he presents Katin massacre, which is identical to the ridiculous claims of the Tchekists dating 1943....
There is no historical approach, it is the mouth of a communist low level commisar repeating the official line.
Not even the most retarded russian historian in Russia would dare to say something like that today.
And pay attention he sells himself, unconsciously, when he speaks by "Mez yen hantznvel..."
        Repeat: MEZ.
His soul is soviet, and he is not even trying to hide it.....

Second easiyest page, we do not need archeologists to check.
This guy, with a very easy and honest tone, tries to do the exact job bolsheviks always excelled at, divide and poison the targetted society, that is us in this case.
He is innocently stating, that Dashnaks are to blame, for the exile of 3000 Nerkaghtoghs to Sibir in 1946, and not the Bolsheviks..... thaugh he admitts he has no proof for it....., since there can not be any other explanation...
As if the Bolsheviks needed rationals understandable by normal persons, from an Armenian perpective at least...
As if they did not execute, exile or persecute hundred of thousands of innocent Pows returning from german shtalags after 1945...., etc. , etc...

Kasian is a hero! Proof: he himself ended up eaten by the monster he served....
As if 99% of the criminals arround Vladimir iI. Ulyanov in 1917 did not end up killed by Beria/Stalin.... so they are all innocent??

His stinking voice comes from Stalin era, not even after it....
        Vrej, everything you say agree.
But removing something without putting the history right is not enough.
We should have had a Nuremberg of soviet legacy, cut that damn legacy and move on.
But, while the government is reestablishing that same legacy for itself, we should concentrate on street names? Why not the persons and events themselfs . If theyre guilty or good.
And it seems maybe more names have to share the blame. If we say somebody is a victim of NKVD/Stalin. But that person looks like done plenty wrong too.
In any case, if not debated, this history interpretations will stay unsolved.
we know who was bad. But it should not die with us as history without resolve.
I hope I am explaining what I mean.
Because, next generations may be going to repeat the same history.
I think that the nuremberg was the most beneficial to German people, looking how quick they re shaped themselfs to new powerful and modern society.
But, 25 years on, we are stil in the same swamp we used to be. Actually worse.
For example in soviet times majority complained about elections. Now, we act even worse by our own choosing.
its not enough to change street name. What's behind that name has to be put to martial and final court.

          I agree 100%.
We should have desovietized in 91-92.
But for some objective and mostly subjective reasons, did not had the maturity and state mindedness for it.
I remember those times, I was myself shocked the way the Germans, Poles and Balts behaved , when opening stasi archives, purging most communist nomenklatura and even middle, low level cadrs....
I taught we could not afford it given war.
I still am not sure if we could have it before 95...??

But life shows, we were wrong, they were right.
They had much more freedom of, sure, and certainly more maturity......

We did not do it then, we should do it still now.
And if not, someday we will have to...
          The later, the worse...

If we could have done it, most of our parasites today would have been in the prisons of California or Maskwa, and we would have certainly halved the emigration, and would have a different country...
