Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Ill just leave this here, let you guys decide:

I had no idea you had contacts at Lubawa Armenia, and that you were keeping tabs on their manufacturing deadlines exactly in this photos both got standart NATO helmet, but lubawa armenia will make copy of mich2000, those are not big, currently US army helmet

Azerbaijan does them too during military exercises. The difference this time is that Azeris struck us when we weren't expecting them to because no side has shot down anything (besides that drone in 2011) in 20 years. We were all surprised ourselves. Perhaps we should have expected they would eventually shoot one down since they are, after all, much more likely to start a new war and do reckless things. But alas, it's done now. From now on, you can bet both sides will be more cautious with taunting exercises.
I know it's commonplace for these flybys to happen. I just feel that you can still have taunted them and been out of sight, like 1km from the front line. Giving the order to fly either on or that close to the contact line to me seems like a reckless thing to do. We can't really pull another Mi-24 out of a majuc bag and make every thing the way it was. Every single one is precious. I don't think it was wrong to taunt the enemy. I just think it could have been done much more carefully and not so arrogantly. I don't know, hindsight is 20/20.

They're not stupid. They're not going to risk flying a heli or fighter anywhere it could get shot down, unless the sultan want's to have an excuse for a war.

If they were at higher elevation it could have ended up gliding into Azeri held territory, very easily.
They were not doing anything wrong abd have every right flying along the line of contact and not headed into the enemy. This was not an attack bu us and the first helicopter (if armed) should have turned and attacked that position across the line contact and destroy that target (at least that is what I would have done under my own orders, fck they just killed three of my pilot friend for nothing).
Bro, watch the video again. I'm going to take a guess that the helicopters is flying at 50m or under, which is standard for helicopters. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nap-of-the-earth Helicopter NOE flying

So your saying as it fell 50 meters is 2-3 seconds, it managed to complelty change direction and cover~ 140 meters towards the azeri position. I'm going to guess it's going to fall to the ground faster than it can turn.

                The math.

Crash site: 20 meters from azeri position

Eddo's claimed distance within Armenian territory. 500Ft~ 152 meters

Distance required to reach crash site 132 meters from 500ft.

Azerbaijan would have suffered casulties if a damn helicopter wreckage, on fire, ready to explode, fell 20 METERS AWAY FROM TROOPS.
I don't get it. Its a lie. It's a typo. It's a mathematical mistake. Which one is it.

I'm not telling you it was 20 meters, it was the MOD of Artsakh. I seriously doubt news.am would accidently write the wrong number on such sensitive bit of information. They're not school children.

Not every single part of the trench system is occupied by people. There are strong points and points that are completely empty. Foot by foot, there's probably more trench that is empty than is occupied. Also any fighting position on the front line is usually hardened against fragmentation or blast effects.(bunkers)

well, i hope for their sake that MoD has learned something from this. That was pretty freaking stupid. How can you possibly think going with helicopters near the enemy's line of contact, is a good idea, during wartime? (yes, there's still a war going on, folks, albiet a low-level one), unless you actually WANT to go there, and blow things up, which they were not doing. They were training FFS.
