Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

If Russia is clearly on our side the Azeris would never dare to shoot at us. I agree with Artsakh something is cooking and it seems bad.

Although as of late the Azeris have started using heavy artillery, I believe that this is the first instance (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) that it's actually claimed the lives of our troops. This is a MAJOR escalation. I'm not seeing how at this point its anything short of war. I'm expecting a MAJOR Armenian retaliation, but if this tit for tat get's out of hand, I think that's where they're getting at--the introduction of peacekeepers. I'm not sure what's going to happen. Iran for sure has always been against the introduction of foreign peacekeepers in our region. As far as Russia, well that completely suits its interests--Russia gets another base, further expansion of influence in the south caucasus. And what does Azerbaijan/Turks have to gain out of that? That's the really worrying question for me.

Using heavy artillery is a clear signal of war. I say let them come. Let them attack and lose another 30,000 soldiers and 20% land.

Is it a good time for a war now?in most aspects yes.(1)due to the migrant crises world wide less Armenians are leaving armenia since chances of them getting accepted is one in a million,so more manpower on our side.(2)price of oil is 50% low so azeri economy is in crumble,so not as good economically ammuned.(3)Europe support and tolerance for Azerbaijan has run out.(4)azeris number one ally turkey faces government and Revolution crises(5)our military showed its might so azeris are trying to start a war asap before they lose the tip of the rope and armenia becomes invincible.(6)our economy saw a 2.5 rise in economy in the last 8 months last week, more than Russia's 0.5%.(we are economically better than the past)(7) political instability in Azerbaijan with all arrests of political analysts

Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like one con for restarting of a war at this time would be lack of support from Russia.since they busy with ISIS and Ukraine

Although we wouldn't face all these if we gave a good response to the helicopter shut down like ghokorik mentioned,we look weak and more tolerant in their eyes but let them test the real deal

The Defense ministry came out with a statement that they responded proportionately and disproportionately to the helicopter attack, but did not disclose the specifics. Since we didn't hear much noise out of Baku, I think we gave them a proper response. The thing is that Azerbaijan doesn't really care for the lives of its soldiers--so that's who we're dealing with. No matter how hard you hit them, they won't stop, until you deal a striking blow that'll cripple their resolve. And that's gotta be done thru war, or continuous loss of territory--human life to them means nothing.

If your that smart then make your enemy start the war instead. Because the international community cares about only who started the war, not who is right or wrong.

I mean the consequences of the war on our side,I didn't mean literally declare war, meaning not to shy away from attacks like this.whichever side starting the war would be stupid

Shooting Rockets TR-107 by itself is an act of war.

Lying about the numbers again but good to know one monkey died

4 Armenian soldiers killed, 16 wounded: Azerbaijani Defense Ministry
                      [ 26 September 2015 10:33 ]
One Azerbaijani soldier died in the clash on the contact line of troops

Baku – APA. “A heavy and bloody clash erupted as the enemy forces attempted to raid on Azerbaijani positions on Friday,” the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement, APA reported.

According to the statement, Azerbaijani soldier Mammadov Elshan Vaqif oglu was martyred and three other soldiers received light shrapnel wounds as Armenian armed units used large-caliber weapons as well as 82-mm mortar launchers.

“First aid was provided to them. They are in satisfactory condition. The Defense Ministry leadership extends deep condolences to the family of the martyr and wishes them patience. We promise that the blood of our martyrs will not go in vain as it never did before. The Armed Forces retaliated with rocket and artillery strikes against the enemy, killing four [Armenian] soldiers and wounding 16 more. 10 of them are in serious condition. Subunits of the Armed Forces fully control the operational conditions along the entire line of contact. Any attack by the enemy is decisively intercepted with superior weapons. The Defense Ministry states once again that Armenia’s military-political leadership bears full responsibility for the escalation along front line,” said the statement.
