What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. What makes the Verba MANPAD different from past models.

"The Verba rocket can see its target in three spectra, so it is able to distinguish the target even in the case when so-called laser projectors attempt to blind the GOS MANPADS with their rays. The modern heat seeker can detect and engage targets with low thermal radiation, such as drones and cruise missiles. Not even helicopters with specially mounted devices that reduce the temperature of the engine exhaust are safe from the Verba.

Most foreign MANPADS operate comfortably only in the course of pursuit, when the aircraft already flew past the position of the MANPADS operator, and the missile was fired after it, focusing on the thermal emissions coming from the aircraft’s engines. However, the Russian Verba with its 9m336 rocket can take the enemy head-on, with a frontal attack. In such a scenario, the multispectral optical heat-seeker does not recognize the heat emitted by the engine of the aircraft, but the heat that builds up on the wings and fuselage from air resistance."

This military exercise seems ridiculous in numbers, there Armed forces will have 30.000 and 250 Armored and Tank personal seems way too much for a military exercise with 25 different aircraft, that's almost 1/3rd of there entire Army in one exercise, Is this another offensive?!

I tried to see where the "exercise" will take place. Couldn't find any mention of it.
Our military is well equipped now, the idiots lost their surprise factor long ago.
If they do anything stupid in the pretext of exercise, they will hurt really bad.

Azerbaijan had a big opportunity to "take back back there ancestral there homelands' in 2011 when Armenia was at its worst and the Azerbaijani military was at its peak, having a powerful military budget compared to Armenia's budget which just reached 400 million. But no, Aliyev blewed it harder than facking the Azerbaijani peoples hopes and dreams for a democracy harder than there economy tanking in 2016 they instead invaded at the worst time in there history and ended up gaining a hill we could of taken back in a day, which they so happily parade like it was a total 100% victory on there side.

The latest Russian weapons in Armenia: what does this mean?

The Armed Forces of Armenia continue to be updated: the latest Russian MANPADS "Verba" was acquired. How this purchase will affect the balance of power in the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict.

Deputy Chief of the Armenian Air Defense Forces, Colonel Artur Pogosyan stated that after the "April war" of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, a large consignment of portable anti-aircraft missile systems (MANPADS) "Igla-S" and "Verba" was purchased. This information was also confirmed by other sources in the Armed Forces of Armenia. How will this seemingly "insignificant" (against the background of the same Iskander-E missile systems) purchase for the balance of power between Armenia, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan?
MANPADS "Verba": portable complex with new capabilities
Unlike all other MANPADS, including the Russian predecessor "Igla-S", Verba is equipped with a small-sized radar station that allows to detect the air target before visual contact (there is information that the purpose of the "airplane" type can be found at a distance of up to 40 km), and therefore prepare for the defense and not be "caught unawares". The targets can be amazed at distances up to 6 km and altitudes up to 4.5 km - no other MANPADS demonstrates such indicators (in the "Needle-C" the maximum height of the defeat of targets per kilometer is less). In addition, the infrared guidance of the missile is carried out in three different ranges (in the "Needle-C" in two), which avoids the action of IR traps, which combat aircraft use to protect against MANPADS.
The role of aviation in the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict is finally reduced to zero
Over the past decade, Azerbaijan has actively purchased aviation equipment from various countries. It was 16 MiG-29 fighters (1 later crashed), purchased in Ukraine, about 30 Su-25 attack aircraft (at various times purchased in Belarus and Georgia), several Su-24 front-line bombers in non-flying condition (and this is already, Apparently, forever). The fleet of combat helicopters also expanded seriously: South Korea and Ukraine modernized 12 of the 36 Mi-24 attack helicopters to the Mi-24G SuperHindMk level. IV (one car was lost during the "April war"), as well as in Russia, 24 new Mi-35M impact machines were purchased. In addition, part of the military transport helicopters Mi-8 was converted to use Israeli anti-tank missiles LAHAT. Modern Israeli drones of various types were also purchased, some of them being assembled in Azerbaijan.
Against the backdrop of the Air Force of Armenia, which has not been updated for a long time, and armed with 15 Su-25 attack aircraft, a small number of Mi-24 assault helicopters and Mi-8 military transport, it seems that Baku has achieved a very serious advantage. But in fact, this is due to the fact that after the first major aviation purchases of Azerbaijan in 2007, Yerevan relied on the development of air defense (air defense). This step was quite logical given that until recently (the fall in oil prices), Baku had much more money and it was impossible to keep up with it in the quantitative plane. Already in 2007-2008, the Armed Forces of Armenia had for sure three divisions of S-300PT-1 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs), although this was not advertised at that time. Later, 2-3 more battalions of the S-300PS antiaircraft missile were acquired, which are located in the south of Armenia, next to Nagorno-Karabakh. There are many other systems on the armament, with a smaller range of action - the SAM "Cube", "Wasp" (including the ones that were modernized by the Armenian military-industrial complex), in 2016, the Buk-M1-2 air defense systems,

Even before the above-mentioned news about the delivery of a large batch of MANPADS, the arsenal of Armenia was estimated at about 300 units of this type of weapons (Igla and the older Strela-2).
It is clear that in such circumstances, the Azerbaijani Air Force will not be able to make any contribution to the outcome of the hypothetical conflict. With the supply of "Verba" the situation only worsened - taking into account the peculiarities of the relief, even very competent use of attack helicopters (including modern Mi-35M) and storm troopers will become an adventure. In Baku, they are also well aware of this - during the last "April war", aviation tried to use only on the first day, which immediately caused the loss of two helicopters - one of them fell in the territory of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Mi-24G). Attempts to inflict air strikes with the help of airplanes were not even made, given the futility of such an undertaking.

As for the Armenian Air Force, they can also be used very narrowly, because of their small number and good equipment of air defense of Azerbaijan. That is, the conflict is finally transferred to the "land plane". Obviously, this is in the hands of the defending Armenian side, which was able to level out the threat created with minimal financial costs.
The fight against drones is a priority direction of the development of the air defense of Armenia
The "April War" in Nagorno-Karabakh became, perhaps, the first example, when two serious armies actively used modern unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against each other. Never before had such a number of UAVs been knocked down in such a short time - Azerbaijan lost at least ten vehicles (some were "planted" with electronic warfare means, some were shot down with the help of modernized short-range SAM systems "Osa-AKM" and 23-mm antiaircraft guns "Shilka "), Armenia is not less than two. Baku more actively used UAV, including Israeli drones-kamikaze Harop, widely advertised media, which can also explain the higher losses.

After the war, Armenia began actively working to improve the capabilities to combat UAVs. The work is carried out in a complex way - from special training of motorized riflemen to the development and implementation of special means of defense. About them in the last interview told all the same deputy chief of air defense troops of the Armenian Armed Forces. First of all, anti-aircraft artillery is being modernized - 23-mm self-propelled "Shilki" and twin 23-mm ZU-23 anti-aircraft guns. This, at first glance, obsolete weapons get a new life with the installation of new sights and thermal imagers. It must be said that the revival of antiaircraft artillery takes place in richer countries. For example, the French have specially developed a 40-mm anti-aircraft gun RAPIDFire to combat UAV. Another direction was the creation of a special radar station, "grounded" under the detection of small targets, such as UAVs. Such a device has already passed state tests and recently began to arrive in the Armenian army. In general, the work goes on within the framework of global trends.

Another useful tool in the fight against UAVs is electronic warfare (EW). Here, the Armenian military will come in handy with the latest Russian EW systems "Infauna", demonstrated at the parade in honor of the 25th anniversary of Armenia's independence. Well, the last - we will return all to the same MANPADS "Verba" - they were created, including for the fight against the enemy's drones.

According to multiple reliable sources, the numbers of their exercise(s) is inflated for internal PR purposes.
I can assure you this 100%.
