Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • Re: Is this the end of the Diaspora?

I don't know what the actual ratio would be, but just look at results from the Artsakh war. There were many more Azeris dead than Armenians.

On a side note, I seriously urge you to take up some grammar lessons, as your post is flooded with errors. It might make it easier for others to consider you more seriously.

Also, ROA is not a third world nation. It's considered a 2nd world nation. Read all about it here (http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworl..._countries.htm). So please, correct your terminology next time as it's making you even less credible.

Yea right Palavra, you are not even a full fledge wolf (if anything you’re a catch and release).................you got a long way to go before you are worth the hunt.
Some of your ultra-Nationalist countrymen will tell you themselves to STFU after reading your comments. I suggest you take a different path though and learn from some of your brave intellectuals like Pamuk. He has my respect.

        palavra
        well well
you may trick everyone here but you cant trick me
i visited turkey not long ago like 2 months
without any problem cause my national ID is written in iran and they will consider me as a christiran iranian not armenian
here is the truth about being 3rd world:
only istanbul is 2nd world in turkey actually all other places and cities are 3rd world even turks in iran have better living conditions than turks in turkey
but i go to university in armenia and also seen and exactly know the culture of armenians.the villages and small cities in armenia are much better than the ones in turkey

Fedayin were a few peasants who drew away the turkish garrison so keep this in mind
and since 1980 turkey cannot even suck xxxx in middle east.armenia is iran's ally and if any war is going to happen against armenia we will get aid from them.lol iran have 20 million army

go and search the internet to find out about the wildest nations in the world
        1.mongols
        2.turks
turks try alot to be european but many of them dont want to be and cannot be european
example:kissing lips or better to say make out is only common in big cities of turkey but in villages and islamic places not even kissing on face is allowed.i just cant stop laughing
turks are being hated by many other nations(turks only not azeri people)persians serbians and kurds and even many of greece people hate turks

We especially need some of those violent Anglo-Saxon genes. Check history to see on what scale of dozens of millions they killed and now they give us lessons in tolerance and civility!

The final war between Turks and Armenians will take place whether we want it or not. This time around Armenians will have to do what Turks accuse them of all the time: give them a taste of their medicine. No prisoners should be taken in that war if we are to get rid of the parasite that has gnawed at our existence for a thousand years. I can't help thinking about what Armenia should have been today: thirty million Armenians would be living in a country ten times the size of the present, a Switzerland + Japan at the same time, spreading the light of culture and civilization in this backward region had it not been only the genocidal acts of the Turk calamity in the last 150 years or so...

Soon as you hear words, unifying words, such as "us" and "we" and "ours" you react negatively and with hostility. You can not even image that there may be Armenians who disagree with you and hold views that are not in accordance to yours so immediately you start name calling because you are frustrated and can't reason back.

More brains and less brawn. We have proven that we have the muscle, now we need to use our brain to get what we need and what we want.
Haha! What reason? I don't see any reasoning in your posts. It's not because I agree or disagree with you: I pointed out your fallacies in this post and since you are unable to reason, you retort with and resort to yet more fallacies, especially the fallacy of accusing me of what I didn't do, namely, name calling directed at YOU.

If I say Turks are Inhuman Civilization-deficiency Viruses, it's not exactly and entirely out of hatred or anger, it's more because they are destroying Armenian heritage as we speak. Unfortunately the photo db of this site is gone… I wish I could show you the pics of the cultural genocide going on in Turk occupied Armenia which would convince the objective person that Turks act like mutated termite that eat into stone. If you are an Armenian, I cannot understand why you are annoyed by my qualification of the Turk monstrosity with the actual attributes of that creature.
