Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I hope we see henirkh in Calcio one day, and Movsisyan moves from danish league to higher league as well.
If Joaquin Boghossian arrives as well. He will add alot to an already great attack.

I think what we need tho is new top keeper to replace berezovsky.Plus a top defender.
Getting Joaquin Boghossian would be incredible. I believe they can get him somehow, he may never really get his chance in Uruguay since he plays the same position as Forlan, why not have him come to Armenia.

"Boghossian played for Uruguay's Under-20 national team in the Sudamericano of 2007. He has yet to play for the Uruguay national team but, while facing strong competition in Diego Forlan, Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani, Boghossian could well be the next goal-crazy striker for Uruguay.
There was also speculation in 2009-2010 that Boghossian would be invited to play for the Armenian national football team, however to date, he has received no such invitation."

I like the new attacking style by Armenia; they used to play too defensively. They also seem to be in better physical condition as well. I also like the youth movement on the team. Still, even though his is ancient by football standards, Berezovsky is a very sturdy keeper.

Berezovsky has been our best player for a loong time. As for Boghosian, he made it clear that his first option and his dream is to play for Uraguay.

Well compared to Andorra, Armenia is a big bully boy.

Armenia have a stong looking team and the Irish where lucky to win 1:0.

Yerevan - Armenia's soccer squad today is considered to be far better than any of its predecessors since they began to be ranked in 1994. According to the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) ranking published on October 20, Armenia is now 60th out of 207 national teams worldwide.

Prior to its back-to-back victories against Slovakia and Andorra earlier this month Armenia was ranked 105th and its best ranking before that was 78th in April 2008.

Thanks to the recent addition of several young forwards Armenia is scoring goals with frequency it never enjoyed before.

Also improving in FIFA table was Russia that is now ranked 10th in the world and with which Armenia will play when its Euro 2012 qualification campaign resumes next March. Among Armenia's other qualification group opponents Slovakia is now ranked 20th, Ireland 32nd and Macedonia 70th.

In Armenia's neighborhood Turkey slipped to 29th spot (after an away 0:1 loss to Azerbaijan), Iran is 61st, while Georgia and Azerbaijan improved to 75th and 91st, respectively.

                Re: Armenian Soccer

There is a friendly match coming up between Armenia and Georgia. It will feature a older georgian team with a strong defence against the younger armenian team with a strong offence. Keep in mind that this is only a friendly meant to prepare us for our next qualifying game vs Russia. Despite being only a friendly match this game should be interesting to watch since the teams playing have very different styles. This is a game for the braging rights of the best football team in the caucuses but unfortunately some of our players will not be available for this one. Our no1 goalie had a operation recently so he is out and a promising prospect did not get his paperwork done in time for the match so we won't be seeing him either. Georgians also are missing a player or two from their lineup. Good luck to our boys!

                    It is this wednesday.

Who is the player who didn't get his paperwork in on time?
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.
