1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

The problem is that public transit system are vast and very fast paced (unlike airports) and always crowded so it is very hard to stop them all. Even if say they manage to catch a bomber at the gates, this person can still just detonate it on the spot and you will still get 20 people dead around you.

Doku Umarov in the past already claimed he is bringing the war to Moscow's streets. What Putin must do is not use the Russian army directly in the North Caucasus but train local Chechen police forces with puppets as leaders (the puppets are there already) to quash it at home.

I agree with your conclusions there. Unfortunately a few chechens are gona make life horrible for their own people. I know chechnia is ruled by russian puppets and i would bet this event was planned for and intitiated outside of chechnia anyways.

Having chechians who are loyal to the Kremlin, as they do now, increase their control of chechnya and their ruthlessness may be the immeadiate way to limit these attacks. These bastards are a threat to Armenia as well, so I hope the hammer falls on them hard and fast.

Chechen society is still based on tribes and clans. The best way to control them is by letting them kill each other. Kadyrov (the Kremlin's puppet) and the terrorists are doing a good job infighting and killing each other.

Ther will be the occasional terrorist acts like yesterday's metro attack or the Moscow-St. Petersburg train a few months ago. These terrorist acts will not go away overnight, Russians will have to be patient.

Another factor is economic situation. The stronger the Russian economy gets, the easier it will be. The more jobs become available in the Caucasus, the less reasons for the locals to become terrorists.

Armenian Woman Among Moscow Bombing Victims

A teenage Armenian woman was among 39 people killed in twin suicide bombings on Moscow’s underground railway, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

The explosions, which authorities said were set off by female suicide bombers linked to Islamist militants from the North Caucasus, ripped through two metro stations in the city center during the Monday morning rush hour.

Thirty-eight people were initially reported killed and more than 70 others seriously wounded in what was the deadliest attack on the Russian capital in six years. A 17-year-old woman, identified as Valentina Yegiazarian, died of severe injuries in hospital on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to 39.

Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan confirmed her ethnic Armenian origin. “Unfortunately, there is an Armenian victim who died in hospital today: the 17-year-old Valentina Yegiazarian,” he told RFE/RL’s Armenian service.

Balayan said two other Russian citizens of Armenian descent, both of them women, were also injured in the blasts and required hospitalization. Doctors says their condition is “satisfactory,” he added.

President Serzh Sarkisian joined world leaders in condemning the bombings and expressing condolences to Russia’s leadership and families of the victims. “Armenia resolutely condemns any manifestation of terrorism,” he wrote to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Monday.

“I am confident that everything will be done to identify and hold accountable the masterminds [of the attacks,]” said Sarkisian.

Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said the culprits must be scraped "from the bottom of the sewers" and exposed as Moscow observed an official day
of mourning on Tuesday. Flags across the city flew at half-mast and somber Muscovites laid flowers and lit candles at the stations hit by the blasts.

Moscow metro: 19 black widows could launch fresh attacks

The warning will heighten fears that Monday's rush-hour suicide attack on the Moscow metro by two women may just be the start of a large-scale terror campaign.

Investigators have said they were trying to confirm whether the two women were part of what was originally a 30-strong female "martyrs' brigade".

The terrorist who trained the brigade, an Islamist convert calling himself Said Buryatsky, was killed in a special forces operation earlier this month in Ingushetia, a strife-torn region bordering Chechnya. He was known as the Islamist rebel movement's ideologue-in-chief in southern Russia and the media had dubbed him "the Russian Bin Laden."

Investigators said the late terrorist, whose real name was Alexander Tikhomirov, had recruited 30 potential female suicide bombers in Chechnya and Ingushetia and dispatched them to Turkey to be taught the precepts of radical Islam in an unnamed Madrasah.

On their return to Russia, he had personally continued their "education." The women are known as "black widows" because they have usually lost husbands or close relatives in clashes with Russian forces and are motivated by a desire for revenge.

Nine of the original thirty brigade members are known to have already blown themselves up in the lawless North Caucasus region along Russia's southern flank where suicide attacks started up again last year after a long pause.

But that, say investigators, leaves 19 "black widows" at large.

The Moscow metro attack may have been vengeance for his death, they added.

"If people trained by Buryatsky himself were involved in these attacks then the explosions are only the beginning," said a source from Russia's FSB security service.

"Especially since Doku Umarov, the leader of the militants gave Buryatsky his orders and has long promised to spread war across Russia."

No group have claimed responsibility for the bombing.

The worrying disclosure came as Russia marked a day of mourning for the 39 people who lost their lives in Monday's attacks and as unconfirmed reports claimed the security services may have had advance warning of the bombing. Flags fluttered at half mast across the country and mourners lay flowers in the two metro stations targeted. At least five people who were badly wounded in the blasts remain in a critical condition.

There was strong criticism of Vladimir Putin, the prime minister, as well as President Dmitry Medvedev, for not doing more to prevent the atrocity. Questions were also being asked of the country's state-controlled television stations who were slow to interrupt normal programming and report news of the bombings.

Mr Putin responded in typically tough fashion. Speaking on state television, he said he was confident the perpetrators would be "scraped from the bottom of the sewers" where they were hiding. Other officials called for the death penalty to be introduced for terrorism offences.

Nineteen "black widow" female suicide bombers trained by an Islamist terrorist known as "the Russian Bin Laden" remain at large and may launch fresh attacks on Moscow, Russian investigators have warned.

Yeh... I'd say it would be a bit difficult catching them red handed when you can't find their hands. Can't believe we can joke about this.
