Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    Re: Iranian-Armenian relations

Greetings Persopolis, and welcom! Iran is a great neighbor for Armenia!
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

The crazy stuff is just some of the mullahs - not the people of Iran. Iranians and Armenians have a history going back thousands of years as friends -- nothing has changed. Governments come and go -- but friendships built over thousands of years don't change. What Iranians appreciate about Armenians is that they didn't lose their identity when the USSR took over those lands for 150 years.

Yes, I wish Iran had stayed Zoroastrian. The Arab invasion and adoption of Islam changed the character of the Persian and other Iranian peoples. Regardless, the IRI has played a positive role in Armenia since the latter gained independence from the USSR.

          Re: Iranian-Armenian relations

I will post some info for Armenians about Azerbaijan because I think it is helpful to Armenians. I will be putting up a detailed blog with citations from historical sources, but here is the quick version:

          1. Azerbaijan is a Persian word - not Turkic. The name was stolen from the Persians by the Turks & Russians. Azerbaijan means "protected by fire" and was the name of the favorite general of an ancient Persian king.

          2. There are two types of Azeris: Persian-Azaris and Turkic-Azaris. Most Azaris in Iran support Armenia. The Turkic-Azaris are brainwashed people. Azaris originally spoke Persian - not Turkic. When Russia seized Northern Persia 150 years ago it made a fake country called "The Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan" (think about how stupid that sounds when the word Azerbaijan is a Persian word). Basically what happened is that the North of Iran contained the Kingdom of Armenia and the Russians and the Turks started to "Turkify" it to strip Iranians and Armenians of their historical lands. The fake country called "The Republic of Azerbaijan is entirely stolen Armenian and Iranian land. No country called "Azerbaijan" ever existed in history prior to the Russians creating it 150 years ago. However, the Kingdom of Armenia did exist as a constituent part of the Persian empire. In other words, both Armenia and Iran should get their historic lands back.

          3. Presently the so-called "Republic of Azerbaijan" is also sending non-Turks (Aryans) to fight Armenia (against their will) in order to ethnically cleans Azerbaijan of Armenians and Persians so that the Turks can take over.

          4. The misuse of the word "The Republic of Azerbaijan" was on purpose to create confusion. Those lands need to be returned to Armenia and Iran.

          5. Real Turks are from Mongolia (Altai Mountains near China). Real Turks look chinese. Ask youself, what the F*** are Turks doing in ancient Aryan lands pretending that it belongs to them?

Not only does Iran recognize the genocide of Armenians by the Turks - Persians have caught the Turks destroying Armenian sites and posted the pictures (remember Armenians and Iranians have a shared history several thousand years old.)

                      IRAN FACTS:

                      1. Many, if not most, in the Iranian government openly do recognize the genocide of Armenians (but remember, the government is made up of many people - and has to avoid bad relations with neighboring countries, especially where the risk of war is great - Israel is threatening war on a daily basis).

                      2. Iran has 150 churches, a seat reserved in its government for Armenian-Iranians (remember we are brothers); and Iranians openly hold educational seminars that show that Armenians were wrongly killed by the Turks.

                      3. There are two types of Azaris: (a) Persian-Azaris (who are not Turks and are Aryans like the Armenians) and (b)Turkic-Azaris who are pan-turkist xxxxxxxs who are trying to screw over Armenian and Iran. I hope Armenians understand this.)

                      4. The Iranian People 100% recognize the genocide: My best friends in Iran were Iranian-Armenians. The Armenian Church in Iran gets money from the government of Iran; and when I was a kid I would go to my Armenian friends houses for Christmas.

                      5. After Russia took over a part of Persia (which included the Kingdom of Armenia and parts of northern Iran, the Turks, Zionists, and Russians tried to "Turkify" the people in those stolen lands. Why? Because the Persian empire, which included our Aryan Armenian brothers, was one of the strongest empires in history.) The Turks even stole the name Azerbaijan from the Persians to create a fake country.

                      6. I can recommend a good website for understanding the Persian-Azari / Turkic-Azari difference (see below) -- the bottom-line is that Turkic-Azaris are either imposters or brainwashed Persians who the KGB, Turks and Zionists tried to strip of their Persian/Aryan identity. (Remember Talysh, Lors, Kurds, etc. are Iranian tribes - The Republic of Azerbaijan is trying to turn them into "Turks" -- The Republic of Azerbaijan also sends these Persian people into its army in the hopes that they will die in battle and so the Turks can fully take control.)

PERSIAN WEBSITES DETAIL THE ATTEMPT TO TURKIFY ARRAN (Armenian & Iranian Lands) -- see below:

What does a Persian look like? (85% of Iran is Aryan - but not everyone)
