Syria: US Forces Evacuating ISIL Commanders from Deir Ezzur
TEHRAN (FNA)- Arab media outlets said that the US troops have carried out another heliborne operation to evacuate 10 more ISIL commanders from the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur.
The Arabic language al-Hadath news website reported that several US military helicopters landed on kilometer 10 of Deir Ezzur-Hasaka road and evacuated a number of ISIL commanders from the region.
"After the helicopter landed, several US marines took 10 ISIL commanders on board and left the region," the report said.
"Abu Dajane Fransawi has most likely been among the top ISIL commanders taken away by the US marines," it added.
Abu Dajaneh was ISIL's man in charge of the terrorist group's financial affairs in Forat (Euphrates) oilfield.
Local sources disclosed in January that the US-led coalition's helicopters carried out an unprecedented heliborne operation in areas West of Deir Ezzur city to relocate ISIL's foreign fighters from the region.
The sources said that 6 helicopters were present in the operations, including two that carried a number of soldiers and Arabic translators in a region near al-Kebr station.
The source said the US troops left the helicopters and staged a raid on the terrorists at a water pump station, killing a number of them. "Then they took several ISIL terrorists captive, in an action that more seemed like a theatrical move".
"It looked like a drill and our suspicions grew when we came to realize that they only took captive those ISIL members who were foreigners," he added.
Other sources said that "the coalition forces that could speak Arabic with the accent of the Persian Gulf states took with them some of the non-Syrian members of the ISIL".
Hayastan or Bust.
Im starting to believe that it is Moscow that is keeping Armenia from making claims. They would have to back such claims, and they don't want to worsen tensions with Turkey.
Haykakan is right. A treaty is only as good as its enforcement. In this case, this treaty means NOTHING. Those lands belong to Armenia not only in a historical sense, but in a lawful sense. Half of the nation is technically being occupied. The same could be said for Georgia, however I do not believe its within their interest to make such claims.

Turks 'detached from reality' - EU's Donald Tusk
Turkey is "completely detached from reality" in calling the Dutch fascists, European Council President Donald Tusk has said.
His remarks come amid a row between Turkey and European nations over campaigning for a Turkish referendum.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused the Dutch government of being "Nazi remnants" and made jibes about its role during the Bosnian war.
The Dutch prime minister called the remarks a "vile falsification".
Turkey is furious at the decision by the Netherlands - as well as Germany - to cancel events aimed at stirring support for a "yes" vote in a 16 April referendum on giving President Erdogan greater powers.
In his remarks to the European Parliament, Mr Tusk said the Netherlands was "a place of freedom and democracy. And for sure Rotterdam," he said - the Dutch city which has seen clashes since one Turkish minister was prevented from speaking on Saturday,
"The city of Erasmus, brutally destroyed by the Nazis, which today has a mayor born in Morocco," he added.
"If anyone sees fascism in Rotterdam, they are completely detached from reality."
Even today, russia's Syrian inbolvement is part of historic desire to establish mediterranean presence. The old "big game" that goes as far back as the Katherine the great and main opposition by England and France.
After collapse russian federation took up soviet union's legacy. But we did not fully reject that legacy.
Maybe the need to have russian protection or presence against turkey?
But first years after independence could have been very productive in internationally heralding the illegitimacy of Kars treaty and campigning worldwide. Like genocide recognition.
That could put us on solid platform of if not making territorial climes directly, but at least have a burgaining chip and be a facor with demands, between russia and turkey.
Hakob jan it is never us who end up using our bargaining chips, they always get used by those who actually have the power to use them. We are so weak that we cannot use even our own chips.
Hayastan or Bust.
In the 19th century the West used the Armenian question to put pressure on the Sultan if he tried to follow a more independent policy on any political question
By calling the West Nazis and fascists, Erdogan looks very strong inside Turkey. Merkel will support Erdogan because of fear that he might get too close to Russia
Shifting turkey's ambition of expansion from Western Europe to the Caucasus (Georgia for now) and Northern Middle East is something to watch how it will effect our dynamics in the region and that of Iran.
kurds are going to be the fierce card to play at least for us Armenians or even for the West if it does separate from NATO.
Big or small, having power or not, clear message of not accepting soviet Kars treaty does not have any risks.
On the other hand sitting mum and in fear and letting big powers do what they want unopposed is very risky.
We dont have our Armenian communists wiping out every national interest now, because it was our communists shutting us down for 70 years for moscow.

A very toxic mix. Ottoman empire is diffrent time zone.
To do this he puts turkey in opposite not only west but russia as well.
Maybe this all, acting against russia first and then against west has the simple purpose of pulling public support and unity after major policy failures and dissapointments in Syria and EU membership, plus danger of russia supporting the qurds.
Even the low life Neocon mccain is at a loss with turkey
