1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

        Re: Myth of Khojaly "Massacre"

Two days ago, on France 24 (a public TV, payed by taxpayer's money, 24h round news), the was a 'Focus', approximately 10 minutes, on Nagorno Karabakh, but in fact, it was clear azari propaganda on Ivanovka/kadjally..., but very poor quality.
No one, outside the region, would have understood anything..., probably even not Gruzins would have understood...
The used war time films, mixed, as if they were actual, and stressing the possibility of resumption of war.
Their reporter was based in Tadjikistan ....
And the only expert was the same ICG warmonger...same song as for 15 years now...
They were rebroadcasting a 'so called azary family' having lost husband there... as if it was a major calamity...
Since when people distribute choclate in war?
It was evidently a payed 'ad', of very poor quality.

What Azeris Don’t Want to Admit About Khojaly

YEREVAN, NEW YORK—A new documentary about the events between November 1991 and February 1992 in Karabakh was screened Friday. The film recounts the shattering of the blockade of Stepanakert (capital city of Nagorno Karabakh Republic), as well as criminal activities of the political elite of Baku which led to the tragic deaths of civilians in Khojaly, Panorama.am.
A two-part documentary, entitled “Between hunger and fire: Power at the expense of lives,” presents compelling evidence about criminal activities of Baku’s political elite, which victimized women, the elderly and children.
The research group, which initiated the film-investigation, reports that the documentary for now will be screened in Russian and English, while it will be translated into seven more languages.
Using a vast trove of materials, the film will be of interest not only for wider audience, but also for research and the academic community. The archive, assembled during the investigation of tragic death of civilians in Armenian-populated Stepanakert and Azerbaijani-controlled Aghdam region, entails grounds for a wider-scale film. The latter will counter and shed light on a range of misinformation by Azerbaijan, which was tasked to deport the civilian population of Nagorno Karabakh Republic from their ancestral homeland.
Meanwhile in the United States, a group calling itself the Azerbaijan America Alliance has launched a massive propaganda campaign of misinformation on the Azeri version of the Khojaly issue. Full-page advertisements headlined “Khojaly: A Human Tragedy Against Azerbaijan” appeared in the national editions of the New York Times on Friday and the Washington Post on Saturday. Advertisements have also been placed in Washington Metro stations, buses, bus shelters and other transportation venues in Washington and New York.

            Re: Myth of Khojaly "Massacre"

Thanks to Azeri propaganda we forget what these days should actually be about: The sumgait massacres, and the murder of yet another soldier by Azeri aggression, and this time on Armenia proper.

Anyone who lives in the Southern California region should do their best to be present at the protest at the Azeri consulate this monday.

                Re: Myth of Khojaly "Massacre"

Moscow authorities have banned the Azerbaijanis to hold protest rally in front of Armenian Embassy in connection with the 20th anniversary of Aghdam events
Prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow has not given permission to the initiative of the Azerbaijani youth group to hold a picket in front of Armenian Embassy in Moscow in connection with the 20th anniversary of the death of residents in the village of Khojaly in Aghdam February 26, 1992.

As the Azerbaijani news agency "Salamnyuz" waiver signed by the deputy prefectural prefect V.Starkova was granted to the organizers on 17 February. The grounds for refusal means is that "the purpose of the event does not correspond to Article 2 § 1 of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation of 19.06.2004 № 54-FZ" On Assemblies, Rallies, Demonstrations, Processions and Pickets ".

According to the agency, Clause 1, Article. 2 of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation says: "Public event - an open, peaceful and affordable to everyone, carried out in the form of meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches or picketing, or in various combinations of these forms of action undertaken at the initiative of Russian citizens, political parties and other associations and religious associations. The purpose of a public event is free expression and formation of opinions, as well as making demands on various issues of political, economic, social and cultural life of the country and foreign policy. "

Immediately after receiving the rejection, the initiators of the Azerbaijani campaign filed a second notice stating that the protesters wanted to commemorate the victims of the Khojaly tragedy and protest against the "occupation" of territory of Azerbaijan. It is noteworthy that this notice was received by February 21 rejection of the prefecture, identical to the first letter of the deputy prefect V.Starkova.

12:14 The Azerbaijanis under the guise of advertising campaign promoting the so-called "Khojaly genocide"

To this end, the tent was distributed free food, and was organized by the sale of Azerbaijani souvenirs. In addition to promotional material the tent is also sold carpets and posters have been established restaurants. The reason for this was the requirement of the sponsors, the fact that the organizers have received permission to conduct a propaganda campaign is not as well as advertising and trade share.
According to the report, in a tent 7.6 students handing out promotional materials. The Armenian community of the Czech Republic could not indifferent to this initiative, the Azerbaijanis, and from the very beginning of the event next to the tent handing out materials to refute misinformation Azerbaijan in Czech.
