Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Armenians need to stop it with the Western Armenia BS, no more Armenians live there. Are you planning on waiting another 100 years for the toorks to recognize their crimes, and then demand those lands back? With the intent to ethnically cleanse the people living there, and colonize it again? Im pretty sure Thats absurd, borders and kingdoms change, the only part of Armenia we should we recieve as reparations is Ararat, where our people are from. Western Armenia is gone, be realistic. If they do recognize it, then we set up a joint commission with them for the preservation of ancient sites and rename the provinces.
Armenian colony of Glendale will conquer all of California!

----- armeniaians need to stop with their "bs" |||| not bs, that's your opinion.
----- BECAUSE, *** no more Armenians live their *** your right about no more Armenians live their. They were murdered & tortured a mere 100 years ago there.
Removing the murdering thieves & their offspring from stolen lands is not ethnic cleansing. Ethnic cleansing is what happened to the Armenians & others who traditionally lived there before they were murdered & tortured. You've got that 180 degrees backward. In fact that is a verbatim turc argument.

Read the title of this thread.
Go to the hacked Facebook site and read (all) the comments about Armenians posted. Comments such as ... The pleasure of murdering Armenians and torturing them & the willingness to do it again, etc, etc, ...
          Now read post #2.
Not one word of disgust for the hacker or the commentary of the foul hominoid, (but) instead, one sees post #2.

          --------------
Armenians of Glendale California , have no intention of (conquering) LOL California.
Non of us would say that to our American compatriots.
That is not our intention, and never was.
We help strength America by hard , honest, industrious work.
Glendale is one of the most peaceful communities of its size in the country. In large part because of the honest and friendly large Armenian presence.

wait for them to recognize it? if they recognize it? joint commission? the only part we should receive is ararat where our people are from?

maybe you should work on that commission while turkish soldiers take some more target practice on armenian churches, or what's left of them after they have been looted, shot at, and converted to bathrooms and stables. Forget reparation and recognition. In history of human existence, no nation or empire has willingly given up land because they felt guilty. It is the biggest insult for you or anyone to suggest that Armenians should sit down and hope the Turks agree to stop desecrating what they stole.

For practically all of the past three thousand years the Armenian Highlands have been inhabited by Armenians. over two thousand years before anyone had heard of a Turk. Just because we have not had access to them for the past century, we should forget three thousand years of history? Armenians are form Ararat? the most historic cities like Sassoun, Taron, and Ani are nowhere near Ararat.

No doubt our focus should be to the East, because that is more realistic relative to our national strength at the moment, but that doesn't require forgetting or giving up on what is ours. dynamics change rapidly, and nations rise and fall. It is in no way unrealistic to believe that in our lifetime the correct variable may line up to allow Armenia to regain control of what is our most important lands.

30 years ago the Kurds were nationless, oppressed everywhere, and the only war they were fighting was against each other. Now they have their own country in Iraq, and will most likely have the same in Syria. Turkey isn't far behind.

Not the first time Eddo has said that.
                I agree 100%.
Again, if I may quote Eddo ... The only time I would go to Anatolia, is to liberate our (Armenia's) stolen lands.
                I agree 100%.
Your second post boy had niether substance (none) nor merit (zero).
For all to see, niether of the two posts by the witless wonder had anything at all to do with the topic of the thread or the foul things posted by the hacker.
                Nothing whatsoever.
Your substitution of a character attack for an reasonable argument shows a distinct lack of both intellect and character.
------ the road to the liberation of western Armenia is through the east -----
The heartless murdering hominoids (turcee) & their thieving murderous kurd assistors (voluntary assistance) stole by murder and torture land that did not, and does not belong to them.
It is not ethnic cleansing to evict a thief or their offspring from land acquired by murdering the rightful and just occupants..
What the turc & kurd did was ethnic cleansing of the indigenous heirs of the land.
What we do when we take back --- ANY --- of our lands is called **** JUSTICE ****.
                Any rightfully so.

I didn't mean that literally, its a national symbol, and more importantly, many Armenians use it to represent our ethnic group.

There is no way we would be able to control the area, many of the inhabitants are Turks, Azeris, or Kurds. No Armenians there, no support in the area for the state, and no way to put Armenians there again without committing genocide.

How do you suggest we preserve our cultural monuments, churches, and areas? Invade Turkey and have Bob The Builder restore everything? Turkey will not recognize the genocide, without immense international pressure, thats obvious. They really do not have to recognize the genocide, we can have a third party with the goal of preserving historical sites, set up an organization made to save those areas. Other than that, there really is no other way to guarantee the safety of what is left of our presence in the area.

And, how do you suggest we stop them, without cooperating with them like civilized human beings?

Van has a population of around 1 million people, Kars, 300,000. Not a single one is probably an Armenian, who speaks Armenian.

The Armenian state, is the Republic and Artsakh. Thats that. We are a small, densely populated nation, with little political and military power. How, in the name of fxxk, would we be able to 'regain' control of those lands? They no longer belong to us, they were stolen from us or given away. Receiving Ararat as a reparation, just the mountain, would be a blessing. "Igdir", well, it might actually be realistic, but you would see a mass migration of the population from the new territory to Turkey or you would see a brand new and very large Turk minority in Armenia.

Armenia's future is in the East, and Ararat as a reparation is not insane, and has been a realistic proposal

Many Armenians demand a restoration of the Turkish-Armenian border as demarcated by former United States President Woodrow Wilson in the 1920 Treaty of Sèvres, and a hefty amount of cash reparations.[15] Some demand a land corridor between Armenia and the Black Sea in order to ensure the long-term viability of the Armenian state, while others only want the symbolic inclusion of Mount Ararat in Armenia and a formal apology by Turkey.[15] Ümit Kardaş, a retired Turkish military judge, proposes the unconditional opening of the Turkish-Armenian border, as well as an invitation by the Turkish state to all Armenians living in the diaspora to settle in their ancestral lands in Turkey.[16]
I never said we should forget and let go of what was ours, having a joint Armenian-Turkish commission with a goal of preservation and restoration is a way of keeping what was once ours. It doesn't have to be because of the genocide, it could be just for the sake of preserving and recording human history.

Artashes, I am glad you are not a politician. If you were, Armenia would be in deep trouble with the UN and Human Rights Watch
