Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Wraps them tight, and wont let them free
Until America came, and let it be.

    This issue creates much discussion
    Surferarmo's disagreement has had reprecussion
    Cant you see another view
NO: you are lazy, sitting on the pew
    From Canada to France afar
    You defend this Russian Czar
Bush gets more hatred than Saddam
Why should I not drop the bomb?

Do not be afraid of my posts
If you cant respond I will only bost
    A lecture on globalization
    and the protest with conflation
Unexamined lives are not worth living
Is life just for care and giving?
Evasive action works for my side
You can run, but you cant hide.

*This is my first poem, and I must say, it really does take away some of the stress from finals.
    Iraq 2

Although surferarmo does call us pussies
since we don't enjoy the death of Irakis,
He isn't to blame for being one-sided,
Because by FOX news, he's been blinded.
Despite his bias, he continues his mission
To one day be a good politician.
He has potential to be a good bureaucrat
because the lives of many, for him, mean squat.
As long as it means profit for the states
muslims and arabs, with a passion, he hates.

But be reassured, fellow lovers of peace
For comeback will come when Bush will decease.
Although he now rejoices in his new-found oil
he will then be in hell, where he will eternally boil.
    Iraq 3

I take one side, you take the other
During the war you ran for cover
You can not see the good in this
All my points you seem to miss
    Your people consume HE
    That is clever and lovely
You come in now with "peace" on your mind
You just came to take what was left behind.

I do want a poly sci degree
I am also majoring in economy
The canadians fight the Noble Afgans with attrition
Who said I wanted to be a politician?
It would be nice, I could do good things
All the people in countries would sing
I would not want to start a war
    Death and killing I abhor

Do not judge my ideals on this one thread
It is 10:30, and I just arose from bed
The waves are good and I have time to surf
I want to be "Papa the Smurf."

Why would i run for cover over here?
we were not hunted down like deer.
The war took place miles and miles away
On iraki territory, where they could do nothing but pray.

Perhaps that would explain american cold-bloodedness
Since war and atrocity, they never witness.
You continuously point the bright sides of this war
But, for me, a single innocent life outweighs them by far.
Which is why we have never agreed
Because I believe in life, and you believe in greed.

And if Papa Smurf were talking like you,
I'd deprive my children of TV and find something new.

      :P

There is no evidence of WMDs in Iraq
If you cannot see this you're on crack
There is no justification for starting wars
But the neo-cons are profit seeking xxxxxs
They would kill anyone in the name of profits
Making us chase Saddam when they are the real culprits
Bombing innocent people for oil and for Israel
Their war crimes they try to conceal
TV is a tool used to mold the minds of the masses
Torrents of propaganda spewed by the Bushes
Subterfuge is use for mind control
It corrupts the mind and drains the soul
The American masses are easily deceived
To support the war the neo cons' goals are achieved

            To eliminate the opiate

Power in this world belongs to a privileged few
For ages their minds have been malicious and askew
Life in our world is in the hands of an elite
Their tentacles encompassing the world from Wall Street
It’s a chamber for the money masters
Who plot all wars and all disasters
From attacks, to bombings, to planned genocide
Causing hunger, starvation and poverty worldwide
From Pharoahs, to a Caesars to Alexander the great
They all try to eliminate the opiate
All governments are a failure to this degree
They are either despotism or anarchy
            All theoretical governments aside
Its one or the other which has been the case worldwide
Mans a free agent whose future looks dim
Though omnipotence is all around him
To be free to do good, he must be free to do evil
He has the ability to endure or to revolt in upheaval
From emperors, to kings, to dictators in a police state
They all try to eliminate the opiate

American cold bloodedness I think not
The rest of the world runs when issues get hot.
              Its OK I understand
You'd rather live your life than free people in another land
Your selfishness will take you far
I cant go anywhere cause I dont have a car

              CNN and ABC
How can you trust liberal TV
Being the robot for the new left
all they want is your paycheck and theft
You speak with ideals of American Dreams
Yet towards Canda, you will lean.

              Dictator brings people to misery
Of these people I speak of the Iraqi,
America goes to set them free
For there strife, I will take responsibility.

Oh no! Will you look at that
My poetry corner has turned into combat
Stop making pointless rhymes about Iraq
We all know there was no evidence for an attack
The only things people are left to argue with
are opinion, more opinion, and myth
A few posts of Iraq were okay
Now it's starting to be cliche
                So start being more creative
more intelligent, more coherent and more fictive

I just realize that I cant rhyme
But what should I do, I think its time
Ppl must know what they say
Cos they're starting to sound a lil bit gay.
                    War is not the answer
And that doesnt makes u a fighter
                    Real fighters are the peacemakers
Who are protection against the peacehaters
                    Mofos like those presidents
Who throw bombs to innocent residents
                    Put America in terrorist hands
And make the citizens out of their bounds
Peace my ppl, love THE PEACE
Thats what Im screaming as a lil Miss
Resolve the problems only by talking
So there wouldnt be any bombing...
                    PEACEEEEEEEEE

                      Life's spring

                      xxxx the war
                      Whats done is done
I burgers with a sesame bun.
                      What you can do with out harm;
is drink agua with out alarm.

The element which quenches the roots so deep
can settle my stomache and make me sleep
I surf, I swim, and go fishing as well
I am armo, but I dont use gel
The ocean, the lakes provide for us
To give back to it, is a must.

On a hot day it cools you down
It turns a smile from a frown.
At the beach half naked all day
Hot chicks in bikini's all over will lay.
It brings the love, it quenches the thirst
Until the day I'm in a hurse.
