There is much talk of producing weapons in Armenia to limit our dependence on other countries. I think this is a good idea. I am making this thread so we can discuss what weapons are needed for our Army and which of them can realistically be produced in Armenia. This is not about exporting for money. This is about making weapons we need. This is not about economic profit, it is a security matter. Lets have a open discussion and some suggestions. Please include your reasoning when making suggestions.

One is on the right track

Used artillery shell casings repurposed with ball bearings with a short barrel artillery to halt any surprise attack (like the least one) connected to the PSI.am sensor.

I read about those a while back. I bet we could export them if production starts.

            Re: Armenian Weapons

With some basic measurements, the spread of the ball bearings or the shower area can be controlled with a basic telescoping barrel artillery. One of the hundreds of sensors will send the location of disturbance to the command center, in return the command center will activate one of the artillery by controlling the most effective spread to a specific location. Since we are not using one precise shell these artillery barrels will not need any spin grooves making them easier to manufacture. It is like having a monster shotgun. There is nothing new or high tech to invent since we have the sensors and all the components to make it happen. With landmines and this defense system, in a year’s time we can make all the borders almost impenetrable. For conventional arms, it might be cheaper to buy them form others since they are mass produced. When it comes to specific applications like trench wars and attacks, we will have to build our own.

All we need now a military grade audio sensor (amplified parabolic dish) we can use the same monster shotgun to take down any UAV that cannot be disabled with radio signals.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests
