In a Turkish discussion forum on Facebook
I read the following (I quote from memory):
“Armenian intellectuals were targeted
for extermination in 1915 because
they were members of the ARF
(Armenian Revolutionary Federation)
and committed acts of terrorism
against the Turkish people.”

Armenians were not against the Turkish people
but against the Sultan’s regime.
But then so were Talaat & Co.
The only “crime” against the State
committed by someone like Zohrab
was hiding and protecting Talaat
at a time when the Sultan’s secret police
was looking for him.
