I thought a thread should be dedicated to telling the site admin what we think about the site. Whether you are Armenian, Turk, or just someone who came to learn more, I think this site is mutually beneficial to all of us. It doesn't matter what your position is on the topic when it comes to what purpose the site is serving us, and I hope you all agree with me that it is great. We are all here to post our stories, opinions, facts, and questions and I think it is great that there is an active dialogue between all of us. There are a lot of people on the site I don't agree with, a lot that I do, but the point is for us to all get to know what the other thinks about this topic. I doubt the site will change any opinions about these topics, and I am sure the site admin knows that, but I think the point is for us to try to listen and understand another’s perspective whether or not we agree with it. There is a flip side to that coin: in any debate facts must be presented. I call on both sides, Turkish and Armenian to present more facts when debating these topics. I don't think opinion goes as far in trying to make someone understand your position. If you can quote a book or document, or any other source related to the claim, you should do so - far more often than either side is doing currently on this site. Other than that, I see healthy topics, healthy debates, and say to all of you, keep up the great work!
To the Admin, I say "hats off to you" for putting this thing together, for maintaining it, and bringing people together from all walks of life to learn more about and discuss this topic. It seems to me that this is the first site of it's kind, and it is about time someone was innovative enough to come up with it. I think I speak for the community when I say we have been waiting for this dialogue for a long time, and it wasn't the Armenian .orgs, or the church, or the republic that brought it to us, it was ArmenianGenocide.com! I appreciate your hard work, and the investment you have made in this site. I hope the rest of you who visit this thread, join me in letting the Admin know what a fine job they are doing.
