Post-war Japan has serious problems. First of all, their constitution limits their land, sea and ground forces. Also, they could not have 'aggressive' weapons such as ballistic missles and heavy bombers. And Japan can not declare war on any opponent; she can only be 'declared war' upon heh.

But all those are just about the law. The most serious issue is, Japanese people are so amused with the Western world that causes them to lose their national pride. However, due to their cultural and social characteristic; they can not easily align with the West; that makes them differ from Germans.

Both Germany and Japan are the 'defeated' sides of the war, however while Germany is a part of the Western world, Japan is an island on far far east with a population who wants to be like Western people.

Also social moral level is so low in Japan, that you could consider Netherlands as a monastery.

So, Muslims can populate and occupy Europe all they want, but they can't get powerful or change laws without weapons. I've met Muslims that I found were far more trustworthy than any Canadians, Americans or Armenians for that matter. Muslims from say Indonesia are different that Pakistan... a person's religion doesn't make him/her who he/she is, it has to do a lot with personal experience, their parents, their surroundings, circumstances, etc. I wouldn't call many Europeans practicing Christians either, being fearful of another person's faith just means you're not secure about your own. It's not a Muslims fault if the rest of the population would rather waste money on their lifestyles, bmw's, etc. instead of raising children.

However, it pales in comparison to having an ally like Russia that defends our basic existence as a nation in the Caucasus. What we really need are more potential allies and partners, so that we can find more wiggle room and can better address the needs of our nation instead of always having to listen to those of our master's (Russia). Unfortunately, the west, the only alternative is not to be trusted, as they support Turkey till the end.

You are right Russia today thinks only about its economic benefits from the gas pipeline to be constructed with Turkey’s approval. Now Russia lets others to do everything with Armenia Turkey and others would like and even threatens us “politely”.

But I guess USA urged Turkey to agree with Russia on that, for a while ensuring Turkey’s support or neutrality in Iraq, until American troops will be taken out. And, soon enough, Russia unexpectedly will find that America is replacing its bases from Turkey to Kurdistan, Georgia and solving its problems with Iran.

Leaving Turkey to face turmoil, instability and the “gas pipeline deal” facilitated by USA would be impossible to rely on. Then USA after throwing Turkey out of NATO will offer it to Russia, for free, to use.

    Will see …

But even the moral support is a gain, although not tangible.

The most we can get out of Europe's Christianity is basic recognition of such things, but not the prevention of their destruction/transformation/plagarism at the hands of Azeris or Turks.

Let me disagree on the point that European leaders are not worried seriously. Because the European “democracy” doesn’t allow them easily to react as they wish.

We are not strong enough to solve all our problems ourselves. Therefore, for instance in terms defending our religion as you suggested, we should collaborate with those mighty that have the same problem and may help us in it.

    With the rest I agree.
