Again i must disagree with "there is deep division in the population". This division you speak of is nothing new yet these people have coexisted for eons. The difference is the puppet master playing up these divisions. Funding the various sides is done via untraceable routes-not many people knew Israel funded hammas.The USA has a long history of funding muslim extremists and is doing it now openly in Syria so why not in Egypt?

I think the best way to describe the situation is, there is deep division in the population.

The coup will polarize the situation further leading to civil disorder if not civil war.

Unlikely the US funds the brotherhood except to fuel disorder, if there are dividends to be had.

If you mean Israel I would say the paymaster is its hostage.

Islamists won in Egypt with a lot of force and fraud and intimidation with plenty of people protesting a religious takeover. In Turkey there is outright rebelion against the religious government. Religion is now as it always has been is used to divide and weaken people/nations. A great example of religion being used as a tool is the shyite vs sunni wars sponsered by Israel and USA. The USA/Isreali special forces dawn the masks of the sunnis and attack shyites slaughtering regular people and they do the same thing to the sunnis and the calls for vengence leads to the bloodlust all over the region. This is part of the USA/Israeli middle east policy. The paymaster you speak of plays both sides at all times.

We are seeing a trend here of the middle eastern powerhouses rejecting Islam( Egypt, Turkey). Will be interesting to see what this leads to.

I am assuming your statement a cynical joke.

How can you say Egypt rejected Islam.

They won the elections, admittedly led by an inexperienced and clumsy politician.

A military coup has taken place no doubt with the blessing of its long standing paymasters.

Everything else is a political show.

US SLAMS ERDOGAN OVER ISRAEL, EGYPT REMARKS

The United States condemned comments by Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip
Erdogan accusing Israel of having a hand in the Egyptian military's
overthrow of president Mohamed Mursi, Reuters reported, citing a
White House spokesman.

"We strongly condemn the statements that were made by Prime Minister
Erdogan today. Suggesting that Israel is somehow responsible for
recent events in Egypt is offensive, unsubstantiated, and wrong,"
White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters in a briefing.

Earlier on Tuesday, Erdogan told provincial leaders of his AK Party:
"What do they say in Egypt? Democracy is not the ballot box. What is
behind it? Israel. We have in our hands documentation."

Turkish authorities called Egyptian army's actions which resulted in
overthrow of Mohamed Morsi unacceptable.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu demanded immediate release
of Morsi and his supporters.

"Whatever the reason is, it is unacceptable that a democratically
elected government was overthrown by illegitimate means, even more,
with a military coup," Hurriyet Daily News quotes Davotuglu.

According to Turkish media, the further actions of Turkey related
to Egyptian developments will be discussed during the meeting with
Premier Erdogan.

Earlier Al Arabiya reported that leaders of Jordan, Saudi Arabia and
UAE welcomed the Egyptian army's efforts, which means that legitimacy
of their actions was recognized by the Arab world.
