Many forum members are into guns so I think a thread is in order on this topic. I have been considering acquiring a ak style weapon but I know less about them then many people here. My friend is very experienced with guns and he suggested the Chinese AK which he said was a very good weapon and can be found at a good price. He also said that some of the modern American weapons are about as reliable as the ak. My question is which AK do you guys recommend and are some of the ARs pretty reliable now?
