    I think the whole point was to tell us to control our consumption so as not to throw world climate into turmoil. It was not ambiguous.

      So it was just an innocent environmental movie, huh? Somehow I can't believe Hollywood would spend millions of dollars to get that message across.

        It didn't. Hollywood spent millions of dollars in the hope that it would make more millions than it spent.
