That was a very informative vid. I knew about much of it already but the theory that our universe is flat i didnt know. I think part of the purpose of religion is to make people feel more significant then they realy are no matter how wrong the bases for such assumptions are. Dark matter and its energy is what i think is going to comprise much of astronomy in the near future.

This guy should research his speech a bit more. Perhaps focus more on science and less on bashing religion. It takes more than 3000K for the ionization of hydrogen. You would think he'd know that.

I think he knows plenty and i think he used humor well. Religion deserves the criticism it gets, every bit of it and more! I think most people will walk away from this vid with much more knowledge then before they watched it.

I learned more from watching the last Star Trek movie which was based on genocide.

There is one thing that doesn't make sense. The universe cannot come from nothing. If the "nothing" he describes has the characteristic to be able to become something, then the "nothing" he is talking about is "something." Nothing has no shape, size, color, weight. Nothing is nothing. It has no characteristics. Nothing cannot become something. You cannot have a bucket fill with water without a natural or intelligent force pouring it in. If nothing happens (in the strict sense of nothing), then the content of the bucket will stay the same. If water did happen to fill the bucket, then something did it, not nothing, because as I repeat, nothing cannot have allowed the bucket to fill. The universe cannot come from nothing because if it did, then the starting point is something.
