Re: Armenian Soccer
Is there any reason we can't do both? Also, the new soccer grounds that opening in Yerevan is directed toward developing the sport among Armenia's youth.

Re: Armenian Soccer
We need to develop our talent in Hayastan. Chasing players who do not want to play with us is pretty sad. Instead of chasing players abroad maybe we should hire a coach for our youth team!

Re: Armenian Soccer
Not a bad result but nothing to brag about either. They need to work on ball possesion.

Re: Armenian Soccer
Movsesian had such a golden opportunity to score in the 2nd half, it was soo close.Originally posted by KarotheGreat View PostGood result, but very bad play. They made some really big blunders. In the second half they had a couple of good chances to score but xxxx up badly. One of them is even to lazy to run to catch the pass of the other player. They need to work on the little things to improve.

Re: Armenian Soccer
I have a feeling that if Armenia plays the same way in Moscow that they'll lose.

Re: Armenian Soccer
Not bad but they are not quite world class yet. They need to get better at midfield. If this happens, it will give the forwards many more opportunities to take shots (and gain composure and experience). Still, much improved team over the past.Originally posted by Mos View Post0-0 finish. Honestly given how weak our offence was and how much Russia was attacking this isn't a bad result.

Re: Armenian Soccer
Ah man that would be awesome. Movsisyan and Boghossian up front would be killer. Yes, midfield needs to get more physical and start beating teams to the ball. I felt they played very lazy and tenative in the midfield in most of the first half and this put too much pressure on the defenders and Berezovsky (who played excellent as always)Originally posted by Armanen View PostJoaquín Boghossian would be a nice addition. Maybe he will make up his mind before the June return game against Russia. Overall, I think midfield needs the most work, based on this game. Also, I think one of the starters (forgot his name) didn't play in this game because he was injured.
