I started watching this show and I pretty much love it now, i keep hearing references to the Armenian mob in connection to the big stash of money they have and I read some things that got me curious and I realized it was a big part of the show, if anyone knows which season and which episodes it was that the Armenian mob theme was in please let me know. Thanks in advance.

That's what I call Hollywood exaggeration.

The Armenian mob job was part of season two. There were a few Armenian side characters during the course of the entire season. TV Tome is the best place to check for something specific like this. Their "The Shield" section includes episode summaries and details.

Yeah my friend was big into Shield, and he's an idiot. So I woudl get really pissed off when the episodes w/ the Armenian mob cash truck would come up and he'd be all, "The Armenian mob this, the Armenian cash that." What the xxxx? None of that xxxx goes on. All American media is trying to make the middle east look bad. Including tv shows and other crap.

Better "The Shield" than "24" though. The writers on "24" are very unoriginal and I can only imagine what they'd conjure up if the storyline involved Armenians. I mean, I can enjoy "24" as a little television action-thriller, but nothing more.

Why do you people insist on calling Armenia "middle east" by no definition of hte word is Armenia in the middle east, check any map if you want. I dont understand why you would be eager to be associated with muslims and xxxs.

How about this, try watching as little TV as possible. You'd be surprised how much easier life is, for me at least.

I can always count on your very relevant input. Try foruming as little as possible, you'd be surprised how much easier life is as well.

I'm not saying I think Armenia is in the middle east. I'm saying America who doesn't give a crap, is just trying to make the whole region look bad.

I'd have to agree. The past month or two I haven't forumed as much as opposed to my older days, and I've been more productive.

A song by Armenian pop "superstar" Nune Yesayan will be featured on episode 5:17 of The Shield.

You do realize you just bumped a two year old post?

BTW, I only saw episode one. The last episode I saw was when the "strike team" stole the "Armenian mobs" money from the "money train". There were no references to the "Middle east", but there were references to the Balkans. A term that they've used on the show several times was "Balkan bastards".

lol, I read my post and I was like, "oh my god that same exact thing happened to me." And then it turned out that I had written it in 2005. Man I must've thought I was so clever back then. You remember right Anonymouse...back then?
