:!: Love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with? Fall head over heels. I say find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. I'm not hearing any heart. Run the risk, if you get hurt, you'll come back. Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love - well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try. Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived.
:?: Does anyone else agree with this, or am I never going to find the other piece of my puzzle because Love like this doesn't really exist except in the world of motion pictures??

Aww, look, my very first post and thread. :D
Nice quote from Meet Joe Black. Are you going to revive anymore threads?

I posted those when there were about 4 active posters. They didn't get too much attention, my little threads, so not they're back. So do you have anything to say Meet Joe Blakc expert? :)
I'm sure love exists..but I've never felt it, I think I have a fear of love..I mean I love my parents and siblings, but I've never truly felt love LOVE...I talk to guys, flirt with them, but everytime they approach me I feel my feet preparing to run in the opposite direction..is this normal or is this just me??

Has anyone seen bronx tale.
In the movie the main character is told by the mafia boss(sorry I don't remember names) that you have three great loves in this world, it doesnt matter what race what color, the girl can be. But you only have three, so make sure you don't lose them.
Damn I'm almost out of chances if this is true lol.

It's a idealistic movie.

The Bronx Tale? There are characters that are idealists but I do not see the movie as being "decisive" in that respect.
At least guys can use the door test.

What's the door test?

From "A Bronx Tale": You let a girl into the passenger seat of your car and close the door after her. Then you walk to the driver's side from the back of the car and look the the rear window to see if she unlocks your door for you. If she doesn't, she fails. If she does, she's a keeper.
:?: Does anyone else agree with this, or am I never going to find the other piece of my puzzle because Love like this doesn't really exist except in the world of motion pictures??
When you stop thinking of yourself as an incomplete puzzle that needs another piece, then you will start to realize what true hapiness really is. In order to be happy, first you have to be complete yourself ... you have to be happy and satisfied with who you are and where you are going in life. Then you will be able to make those around you happy which in turn will draw them closer to you.
All those in the past that have told you, you aren't complete till you find that right one, have been blind fools. Maybe they themselves will never find the true meaning of hapiness.
Note that I left love out of my reply on purpose.

Sure you're right, but I never said I feel incomplete without him. It's not everything in my life that will be filled and complete. Just the part you left out... the love. :)

So if you get in the passenger seat and the guy is going around to get into the driver's seat, you look to see if his door is unlocked? Damn it, there's no wow face.

Not only do I unlock it, I open the door as best I can given that I am on the other side. If you don't believe me, there are people you can ask :) hehe. Doesn't everyone do this?

I don't know, I wouldn't open the door for a girl.
Thanks for the tip but I don't care about smilies enough to breed them to get the one I want.

I use this test to judge my friends too. And I haven't even seen (read?) Bronx Tale.
Another thing: if a friend (or date...let's keep it related) gives you a lift home, does he wait for you to get in the house before leaving? If not, you should start questioning that friendship.
You're supposed to walk 'em to the door and ask for head...but hope you're not leaning on the intercom.

Yeah, especially if said friend doesn't even say bye before leaving. Question it indeed!
Hey Hogg that clip is somewhere in the jokes forum. Verrry funny.

If a guy doesn't do AT LEAST that, then he is a moron. I don't care if the date went bad or not, you make sure she gets home safely.
I don't know about the rest of the guys. I have learned that there are some things you just have to do. I open doors and let the girl walk in before me. I do this anywhere, on a date, at school, etc. I open car doors for a date. If I am having dinner with a date, I pull out her chair before she sits, she gets up to go to the bathroom I stand, and when she returns I stand. Some guys will call this behavior lame, or being a xxxxx.
But there are things that seperate the men from the boys. :)

OK, since this thread is about love, and I am very sad :crying: I have to tell what I feel. Begining of November 2003 I was belonging to the group of "I never fell in love, what is that?" but at the begining of December I changed my group. Four months I lived this crazy love, and u know what sucks the most that when u know that u love that person and that person loves u back, but, there is always this freaking "but" u cant be together. :crying: :crying: :crying: I am crying all these days whyyyyy mee
why i have to love and not to be with the person i love. I will never get over it, when I'm alone i scream so loud and later on I start thinking and convincing myself that ill be ok. I cant be ok when I love, i hate love and I hate the fact of being in love (for now). I'm sad im depressed and i miss him and he misses me...but it's impossbile for us to continue.....I know my thread is aknap but i needed to write what i feel for now, maybe later ill change my mind who knows... :crying: I hope everything go well!
