Hi Folks,As some of the regulars already know. I have been researching the life of my Grandmother. Her name was Rosa Egarian or Igarian.
I have received volumes of information of her life after 1915 Genocide. I am now seeking information about Betias. I want to know more about the day to day life before 1915.
How did the families make their living? What was the political structure? How were marriages arranged? What were the important holidays and occasions?
I know that primarily they raised silk worms and were silk makers. But I was also told there was a blight of some sort, such as locust.
