Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Re: Aliyev Says Armenia's 'Aggression' Threatens Azeri Peace

I partly agree and partly disagree with Palavra. I am againts namecalling, but this is not because I am offended with the words baboon or turgay. I am against it, because it's very childish.I feel myself among primary school children whenever I hear such words.

However, I am offended with the swear Armanen used. I didnot expect that much hatred and always tried to be nice to other forum members.

To any Armenian nationalist, or even to any Armenian in general, being worried about hurting their feelings is repulsive.
I didn't kill anybody and am really sorry for your ancestors. Hope, one day, you give up living in anger.

The mere fact that you pay taxes to the turkish government is enough for me to say that you actively working against the Republic of Armenia; turkey uses those funds to discredit the Genocide and aid azerbaijan.

Re: Aliyev Says Armenia's 'Aggression' Threatens Azeri Peace

Concerning my comparison of how Artsakh and Armenia are related, to how Turkey and Azerbaijan are related, I am dealing with the respective worldviews of Armenians and Turks towards their own "lands" so to speak. I am not dealing with what Armenians think of the lands of the opposing side.

You can name call eachother and use stereotypes, but within limits. I understanding doing this once or twice but to constantly address the other side as such, even when they themselves are refraining from insulting us (which is very shrewd/self-preserving on their part because God knows they feel the catering to the Armenian side by the mods if they tried), even when they are trying to use academic language to address your arguments.... Why should you be exempt from the rules and not anyone else? Just because you're Armenian or are staunch nationalists?

Go to General Armenian Discussions and find the sticky I made for creating the document I was talking about. Start working on it, I designed it so that only the historical accounts and political reasonings of our side could be contributed. Use it to your advantage in dealing with Turks.

Funny how governments turn people into enemies, even though they personally mean us no harm. Technically if they oppose their government regarding those issues, they would no longer be enemies, right? Well, I want our document to run the risk for any Turk coming here to turn that way, requiring minimal drain of energy on our part.

This is weird. Acording to this distorted mentality, All of my friend, my family or every guy I know is enemy for armenians and ROA. So why should I or a turk care about a guy who see my family as his enemy? Because your ancestors are genocided? realy bad reason.

If this is what you think, I totally support Turkish goverment and I do not care what happened at 1915.

You ancestors were right but you are wrong.. I may risk my life to stop Ittihatist and their genocide at 1915 but I absolutely give not any help to grandsons of that armenians.

Actually, based on your premise, you do care about what happened in "1915", but you wouldn't want to see today's Armenians benefit an inch of land or a penny from it because you fear we'd use it against your friends and family. Does this sound more accurate?

Partly true. As I said, I would fight for armenians at 1915, not now. Reason is not fear (I think armenians have a little distorted mentality but I do not believe armenians are realy a danger for Turkey. I was just a little angry.)

I am indifferent, whether Turkey accept genocide or not. Neither support armenians nor Turkish goverment.(at this point.) But I am a little inclined to support my own goverment and my people against enemies of my people.

You can argue with saying what about justice but I prefer to ignore justice for the people who does not interest with justice but hate and revenge..

No, They can do whatever They want. I am just having fun at here.. But If you call someone as your enemy, It would be stupid to wait something from them.

I do not feel pity for armenains too. Why should I? Because your ancestors are genocided?
