Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Re: Inga Anoush Armenian participants at Eurovision 2009
Eurovision Organizational Committee led by Baku and removed Armenian monument from Armenia’s video reel
16.05.2009 18:03 GMT+04:00 Print version Send to mail
/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Ministry of Foreign Affaires of Armenia called on to return the monument, which is a pattern of the Armenian cultural heritage.
Azerbaijan, yielding no opportunity of anti-Armenian propaganda and sometimes carrying to the point of absurdity, distinguished during the Eurovision-2009 pop music contest. This time the Azeri part did not like the image of the monument We and our Mountains pictured in the video reel, beforehand the performance of Inga and Anush Arshakyan, who represented Armenia in the contest.
Baku officially required from the Eurovision committee, Russia's foreign ministry and the First Channel to remove the image of Armenian monument “We and our Mountains” from the video reel, stating that “the monument is located in Nagorno Karabakh, and Nagorno Karabakh is Azerbaijan's territory”. Organizers of the contest fulfilled that requirement and removed the image of the monument from the video reel.
As Diana Mnatsakanyan, advisor to chief executive of Armenian Public Television, told to a
PanARMENIAN.Net, in this connection the ministry of foreign affairs of Armenia addressed to Russia's foreign ministry a letter, calling on the organizational committee of Eurovision-2009 to return the monument. The work of the Armenian sculptor Sargis Baghdasaryan, who was a national artist of the Armenian SSR, is a vivid pattern of the Armenian cultural heritage

Re: Inga Anoush Armenian participants at Eurovision 2009
The Winner Of The 2nd BESC Award
Ladies and gentlemen!
The 2nd BESC AWARD goes to...
ARMENIA
for the best video clip made for Eurovision in 2009 by the visitors' votes!
Congratulation!
We collected the votes for 2 weeks until May 15. You sent 1629 votes, but after closing we filtered out 520 of it, because they were invalid: the visitor's voted for own country or they tried to help their favourites more than once in a day. The screening changed the positions. We will develope our system the next time to make faster the processing.
The 31 nominated videos' points
Armenia 174
Ukraine 85
Azerbaijan 82
Moldova 72
Bosnia & Herzegovina 64
Romania 55
Albania 48
Greece 48
Spain 44
Finland 42
United Kingdom 42
Sweden 40
Lithuania 32
Cyprus 30
Denmark 30
Croatia 27
Poland 27
Ireland 24
Bulgaria 21
Germany 19
The Netherlands 16
Hungary 14
Latvia 14
Switzerland 11
Israel 11
Belgium 9
Slovakia 8
Montenegro 6
FYR Macedonia 5
Malta 5
Andorra 4
Total 1109
Finally here is the winning video clip (high quality):
Inga & Anush - Jan jan
Unfortunately some productions were disqualified. The clips are not regarded as music videos which consist of only a live performance's montage. So we missed the following countries this year: Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Iceland, Norway, Portugalia, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey. These countries didn't come up with a new video on YouTube Eurovision Channel till April 28, that was the dedline of BESC to get the chance of the nomination."All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."

My pleasure, I really respect their Armenian wholesomeness.Yesterday they really won that contest by being true to themselves and to us.That kind of poise and character withstands any test."All truth passes through three stages:

Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."

I agree, thanks for sharing this with us yekhpayr. I just didn't like how many Armenians kept throwing down Sirusho who has done a lot. I mean, she got 4th place even with her bad performance and look at how she has supported our nation in many countries. Let's appreciate that!THE ROAD TO FREEDOM AND JUSTICE IS A LONG ONE!

I give credit to Serge who is a master in behind the scenes maneuver's, but Sirusho charmed them to death,I believe Azerbaijan was next and that lady's brows were twitching after obviously seeing the monitor of "our sarer""All truth passes through three stages:
