Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Expert: Armenia population decreased by 12,300

    15:05, 02.05.2016

YEREVAN. – The permanent population in Armenia has declined in the
first quarter of 2016, Karine Kuyumjyan, Head of the Census and
Demography Division at the National Statistical Service of Armenia,
noted at a press conference on Monday.

In her words, the permanent population in Armenia is 2 million 994
thousand 400 people, as of April 1 of the current year, and the
country’s population has dropped by 12,300 persons, as compared to the
    same period last year.

“We assess the population migration indicator on the basis of the data
received as a result of the integrated research of the households [in
Armenia],” Kuyumjyan said. “[Accordingly,] the population [in the
country] decreased by 4,200 [persons], against the beginning of the
    year.”

A poll conducted by the Helsinki Citizens Assembly Vanadzor office showed a considerable increase in the number of people wishing to leave Armenia over the last three years.

Specifically, 36% of the respondents gave a positive answer to the question: “Would you leave Armenia to settle down in another country you could?” in 2014. In 2015, this figure was 39% and is 42% this year.

Ruben Sargsyan, expert for the Helsinki Citizens Assembly Vanadzor office, presented the poll results at a discussion ‘Northward or westward.’

On the other hand, the number of respondents that gave a negative answer to the same question has remained unchanged since 2014 - 33%.

Asked about Armenia’s future, 22% of the residents said “nothing is changing.”

I have personal experience with that organization. A constant source of cancer and negativity in our society. They make it out to seem like serving in the Armenian Army is walking in a bloodbath. As if youre guaranteed to get killed by bullying, when in facts, its statistically proven, per capita, you have a much higher chance to be bullied, killed, or commit suicide in the US Army than in the Armenian Army. Traitors of the country spend all their effort on a campaign of misinformation on the country, and then when people develop a negative opinion of the country, they scream look we were right. the ultimate self fulfilling prophecy

Lithuanian Authorities Blame Russia for Demographic Collapse

              Read more: https://sputniknews.com/europe/20160...ia-blamed.html

Complaining about the difficulties the Lithuanian military is facing in trying to create a 30,000-40,000-person army reserve, former Lithuanian Military Academy head Eugenijus Vosylius blamed Moscow for its supposed attempts to promote Lithuanian immigration to Western Europe.

Speaking before Lithuania's parliament, the Seimas, during a security conference, Vosylius warned that Vilnius would not be able to prepare the planned 30,000-40,000-strong army reserve by 2021, as earlier planned. The officer emphasized that it would be impossible to build up the country's military if Lithuanians continue to immigrate en masse to Western Europe, without any plans to return.

Emphasizing that Lithuania must always be "mindful of the threat of Russian military intervention in our region," Vosylius suggested that the Kremlin is doing everything in its power to prevent Lithuanian nationals from returning home. This is being done to make it very easy for an "aggressive Moscow" to seize the Baltic states, he said. "Trust me, Russia is using every means imaginable to prevent them from returning from the UK or Norway."

The officer wouldn't clarify what these 'means' were, or how Moscow might influence foreign citizens, members of the European Union no less, to make any sort of decision about their place of residence. In any case, Vosylius suggested that now Vilnius's first order of business must be to improve relations with Poland, because at the moment, "in case of a military threat, the Poles may refuse to defend Lithuania."........

Twice you refer to Yerevan as Erevan??? Who does that?

Looking down the road of the future, I see no place I would like to show a child (baby).
7.4 billion people and growing rapidly. What are the reason people want children? For the child's sake? Or some other reason?
Please have some compassion for the children, and think with your head and heart and not your dk.
Plenty of our people live in Russia but want to to at home. We need to address this issue by improving opportunity at home and not by bring children into a heartless world.
We have no shortage of competent, mature adults that long to come home. Only a lack of opportunity.

of emigration by an entity who appears to be ahead of us and its consequences.
