Re: Iranian Drug Dealers Arrested in Armenia

I should make a video of drugs and prostitution in Canada and the homeless people sleeping on the heating vents on the streets in the middle of winter.

Granted opium isn't the only reason for the "mission" in Afghanistan but it's a rather nice bargaining chip for propping up a corrupt government.
I know the importance of such crops, but my point was you can't blame a continent for all the world's drug problems. Drugs is a worldwide problem - and all sensible nations (including European) try to crack down on such drug trade.

Well they were good only in that respect. My views for the Afghan War is for the NATO to diminish influence of Taliban/al-qaeda, but also creating a foothold in this area by creating an approved government.

Imagine if drugs were legal, anyone would be able to grow them and nobody would profit. Problem solved.

So if there is an INCREASE in Opium production which benefits DRUG LORDS, who do you think is supporting these "underground" operations?
