Re: Al Pacino as Dr. Jack Kevorkian in "You Don't Know Jack"

Why is the movie debuting on April 24th? I just find that strange and obviously done on purpose.

It looks good though and I'm glad to see him back in the news. I wonder if their going to to touch on his Armenian heritage in the film, they should. According to reviews Pacino will probably get an award for this, their saying its one of his best roles.
BTW this is the second time Al Pacino is playing an Armenian, first time he played an Armenian in Author Author- Ivan Travalian. Its one of his best films too.
Jack Kevorkian is an American Hero. A relief to see an Armenian other than Kardashians on national tv. I don't know why some of you do not like him? According to polls more than 90% of the US feels he was innocent and agree with him. The only reason he went to jail was because the judge did not give him a fair trial, The man he helped die- Thomas Youck- his family was not allowed to testify in court who were all for him dying and on Jacks side and evidence of the mans medical condition was not allowed in court. The judge was Jessica Cooper. was she a J EW? Probably

It was a typical hetamnats right wing bs that railroaded this man into prison. The prosecuter himself was part armenian but he was one of those ignorent sara palin types whose political ambitions override justice and everything else.

Thats pretty interesting, i've been doing some research on it again. I think the former prosecuter was 100% Armenian- Richard Thompson and the attorney general (Larry Martirossian)who went after Jack was Armenian as well. But the prosecuter who is responsible for putting him in jail is David Gorcyca, i dont think hes part armenian.

I don't think I'll be seeing this until after Wednesday. I'm so busy with schoolwork. I feel like I'm missing out!

I caught the last half on the night it came out and saw the begining of it yesterday. They made Al look a lot like Jack. Even his manarisms were pretty right on. As for what happened (which i did not know befor) it was Jack himself that lost his own case by refusing to be represented by Fieger in court. I think it would have been a easy case for any good layer to win for Jack but indeed it was his very much Armenian stubbernest that did him in. The judge (at least in the movie) was a real xxxxx. She refused to let Kevorkian bring witnesses when they would have made all the diffwerence. The judge was definetly a terrible xxxxx who had her mind made up long ago and at the end she gave a man with no criminal or violent history the maximum sentence. It was a good movie and a good example of how hetamnats we still are as a society.
