Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    Tigranakert

Crime is seeming on the rise every where and it's mostly due to the media's deliberate promotion of cultural degeneracy and not as is claimed by bleeding hearts, socio-economic causes.

London has a growing (hip hop style) teenage gang problem.

Boy, 16, dies in arms of his mother after gang fight

Nick Pearton is the seventh teenager to be killed in less than six weeks in London

Nick Pearton, 16, was attacked with such force that the blade of the knife snapped inside his body, police sources said.

His mother Kim Wooley, found him after he staggered to a shop near his home in Sydenham, and she cradled him as he died.

The victim’s father, Vince Pearton, said the family was in deep shock.

"There's nothing I can say, we can't take it in," he said.

The stabbed boy was the seventh teenager to be killed in less than six weeks in London, and the 10th this year, raising new fears about the scale of gang violence.

Friends said that the victim died after a dispute between rival groups in a pre-arranged fight at a children's playground in Sydenham.

Witnesses say a gang of up to 10 attackers armed with knives, baseball bats and sticks chased him across the Home Park Recreation Ground.

Well, that's what I'm saying. I agree with you. I would have just apologized (as "uncool" as that sounds to some) and just avoided everything. You never know when words meet weapons, and it looks like that was the case here.

        Re: Another tragic Armenian tale

It's a real shame what Armenians are doing in Los Angeles.

        1) Dressing and acting like the black, mexican gangs, and trying to be like them
        2) Criminal Activity
        3) Fraud
        4) Prostitution
        5) Savage murders

The people who do that are bringing down the reputation of Armenians greatly, as Armenians are not black, gangster thugs. But are highly culture, industrious, and respectful people. We have this rich culture and history, and those people go and do these kind of things. embarrasing and shameful. Hopefully one day the Armenians of South California will understand what they've done....

I think that hope is moving further and further away. I predict our culture will completely die out in 50-100 years.

As long as there is Armenia around, there will be our culture. Armenians in US especially Los Angeles are a lost cause, they've already assimilated well into the criminal black gangs and so on. truely disgusting what those Armenians have done, one person has to go there are just wake them up, at least tell them.

I'm in Los Angeles, and I can tell you that you right now that you definitely need more than one person to wake them up.

the best would be a speech by the president. Maybe a documentary. But even those things will not make much of a difference. I don't live there so I can't really say..

                  Re: Another tragic Armenian tale

It's too deep. There's too much "pride" in their lives. These guys act like they are gang members, and if you say something wrong or give them a suspicious look, they'll be after you.

I have lived in Los Angeles my entire life, and was ashamed to be Armenian in high school. I would have to tell my friends (non-Armenians) that I was "not like those other Armenians." I was picked on and bullied by Armenians, just because.

To be honest, it's more "dangerous" to be around Armenians than any other race. If I was sitting down with my girlfriend and had a table full of Armenians on one side, and another table full of Mexicans on the other side, I could bet you that the Armenians would start trouble with us first. In addition to that, they would start trouble for nothing. If anything, the Mexicans would help us before any Armenian helped us, in a tough situation. It's happened before... more than once.

It's so ridiculous, you might not even have an idea of what it's like sometimes.

I always though those Armenians were Rabiz like in hayastan, but from what I've heard they're really getting down to the level of the hispanic/black gangster culture, one of the most disgusting cultures I've ever seen. I guess it's not good for Armenians to be concentrated in themselves.

                    Why were you picked on?

Huh? What part of this story has to do with being assimilated and being American? Problems in the Armenian community are solely the fault of Armenians. I WISH Armenians would assimilate, because maybe then they'd start to approach their lives with a little more logic.

Why are other young Americans, like this guy, who is only 25, creating fortunes for themselves and Armenians are off acting like complete retards? Is that the fault of America?
