  • News Sources you recommend?

This thread is for news sources that people recommend:

    So for me:

    -tert.am
    -news.am
    -panarmenian.net
    -asbarez (sometimes)
    -news.az

    then for world

    -BBC
    -Euronews
    -France 24
    -al-jazeera
    -russiatoday (sometimes)

I want to add some non-Western news sources, I've been looking to find a good Iranian news source, and also Russian. Any recommendations will be much appreciated.

This has some interesting articles as well

Press TV is an Iranian news and documentary network that broadcasts in the English and French-language. It is affiliated with Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, the only organisation legally able to transmit radio and TV broadcasts in Iran.

i look at this site everyday. Always have great articles. You know they are on to something when azerbaijan wants the site banned and taken down. They have proven that the guba mass grave actually contained Armenian, not azeri civilians. They proved how the azeri claim that Armenia was responsible for the oil academy shooting is nonsense. They also showed evidence linking gaydar aliyev to creating mass graves of azeri soldiers to not show the true number of killed soldiers. They actually have the locations of the mass graves. Great website.

It is hard to pin the site down since it offers many articles from freelance writers. Most of the authors are from the realist school of IR, while overall I feel that the site has a Critical theory slant to it, meaning World-Systems theory, etc. I think you should keep an eye on the articles there, they often feature new takes on lessor known, but historically important events, and they provide a non meanstream angle to politics, both domestic and foreign, and economics.
