Re: Good things that the Armenian government does

Are'nt NA members the oligarchs themselves? Of cours they do not need funding for the NA, they will gladly fund the NA themselves since it allows them to rake in millions more via unfair business practices etc.. Yeh sure its a good thing that the NA did not get more funding but it is a good thing only because it is corrupt to the core to begin with. If it was not corrupt i would be ok with increasing funding to keep it free of corruption but..

I am not talking militarily or anything regarding Artsakh, because those are the two departments where the Armenian government is competent and is delivering!

YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia did not accept the proposals, which were made by the National Assembly’s (NA) ruling Republican Party (RPA) Faction, with respect to increasing the NA funding in the 2013 State Budget.

The Government’s formal response noted that those expenditures are not a priority.

To note, NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Chairman and RPA MP Davit Harutyunyan had stated, during the budget discussions, that if the aforesaid proposals are rejected, that could affect the positions of the MPs.
