  • Education system being cleaned up

I just read this article from Armenianow.com http://www.armenianow.com/eng/?go=pub&id=276
and frankly I am very happy and yet a bit pissed off at the same time. I am happy that they are finally getting their shyt together and ensuring that students, even rich ones, work hard for their grades and really deserve them and that the future workforce will really be qualified, instead of allowing rampant bribery which has always been prevelant.
What i am pissed off about is that it seems when Kocharian gives a shyt he actually does something about it, even in cases like this, but yet has still to take any concrete action like this to combat corruption in the government. Instead of getting the Parliament to pass empty legislation to "combat corruption" he should be going out and firing people's asses on a case to case basis. GET YOUR S HIT TOGETHER ROBIK!

haha nice point. "Get your shyt together!" Can't be more liberal than that.

Well, it's a good initiative I guess. I don't see it making that much of a difference though, because if people can't bribe to get a medal anymore, they can still bribe to get good marks at the tests.

In my opinion, if you truly want to fight corruption, start with the Justice system. Until laws are not being upheld properly, all other reforms become little more than useless.

Armenia should send an ambassador to America and humbly ask for help in creating such a stable and powerful nation as this one. They can start w/ planting RFID chips in all their citizens arms, that way medical data, and your passport info. will be called up the second you're around a scanner. And automatic doors will even open for you. Imagine the convenience.

They can give their police law enforcment tools such as high frequency sound cannons, when turned on a low volume can be used to control crowds and where you want them to go. And when turned up more can incapicatate people.

These are all really good ways to make Armenia a better place. W/ strict law enforcment, no one would dare bribe, cheat, or steal.
