Re: Germany - Armenia’s Second Largest Donor After US
Here are some pages about historical relations between Germans and Armenians [ http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en ]. They can be very useful regarding Armenian Public Relations with German Diplomacy or Institutions :
- in the XVI century :
- Israel Ory meeting Great Elector of Palatinat (XVII) :
Le projet de libération de l'Arménie par Israel Ory et ses relations avec Pierre le Grand et le spathaire Nicolas Milescu.
- philosophe Emmanuel Kant about Armenians :
- scientist Leibniz and Armenians [in particular correspondance with the Armenian scientist of Holland] :
. in armenian: http://www.globalarmenianheritage-ad...eibniz0128.htm
- in XIX century (scientist, linguists, geographes, orientalists, etc.) :
- (in English) influance of German Romantism on the Armenian literature :
- philologue scientist Wagner and the Armenians (XIX) :
- Testimonies of German consuls and missionaries on 1915 :
- striking contrast of Gernan non-denial with State Denial of Ankara :
- an important potentiel in France : numerous towns in France which are twin cities with German towns, Goethe Institut in France and other German institutions in France :
http://www.globalarmenianheritage-ad...5allemagne.htm - http://www.goethe.de/enindex.htm
- French-German State cooperation - the German communauty in France : http://www.globalarmenianheritage-ad...allemagne1.htm
One day I shall try to do researches on the web about German Emperor Barberousse with the Armeniens of Cilicia : http://www.globalarmenianheritage-ad...llemagne10.htm
Best regards from Paris. Nil (France).

Re: Germany - Armenia’s Second Largest Donor After US
I took a tour of the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto over the weekend and they had a huge historical timeline of events leading up to and through WWI and WWII. It was disappointing that nothing was mentioned about the Ottoman Empire and it was all about Germany. We truly have been erased from history.Last edited by KanadaHye; 08-17-2009, 08:17 AM."Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. On the contrary,it is a very good opportunity to do targetted e-mailings to the Art Gallery of Ontario with copies to :
- Canadian historical associations
- Canadian Veterans
- Canadian Unions of history teachers in high schools
- History professors in Canadian Universities
- etc, etc.
- and of course to local press and medias.
The Lord praize internet and Google !
Things have changed you know ! Take care. Nil (Paris).
