- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I don't know when exactly and under what circumstances did Armenian freedom fighters adopt the Arabic term fedayeen, but honestly I don't like it. I suppose it was adopted for being catchy.

I personally like it....maybe its cause I looked up to those figures when I was smaller and it left a good impression, but that and the term "Azatamartik" are high on my list of respected words.

Armenian, Russian Officials To Meet On Racists Killings

        By Ruzanna Khachatrian

A delegation of senior Armenian diplomats will fly to Moscow on June 29 to discuss with their Russian counterparts ways of stopping racially motivated killings of Armenians in Russia, Deputy Foreign Minister Gegham Gharibjanian said on Thursday. Gharibjanian, who will head the delegation, admitted that the Armenian government has been “a bit late” in raising the matter with the Russian authorities, but said it is now “working consistently” to help to halt such killings.

“Not only we but the Russian authorities are concerned about the problem,” Gharibjanian told RFE/RL. “I think that from now on such discussions and exchanges of such concerns will be a continuous process.”

The Armenian government has come under domestic fire over its apparent reluctance to publicly criticize the Russian authorities that are widely held responsible for vicious xenophobic violence against dark-skinned immigrants from the Caucasus, Central Asia and Africa which is becoming endemic in Russia. At least six Armenians were reportedly killed by neo-Nazi skinheads in various parts of the vast country this year alone.

The most recent of those killings sparked fresh public fury in Armenia, with several local non-governmental organizations staging a protest outside the Russian embassy in Yerevan on June 5. Moscow also faced a rare public condemnation by some of Armenia’s most prominent intellectuals that have traditionally been sympathetic to the Russian state.

Speaking at a roundtable discussion in Yerevan earlier this week, the chairman of the Writers Union of Armenia, Levon Ananian, decried what he described as a deadly “hunt for Armenians” going on in Russia. Gharibjanian shrugged off the accusation. “I think that Mr. Ananian did not behave in a correct manner,” he said. “The chairman of the Writers Union should be preoccupied with other issues.”

Gharibjanian insisted that the racist killings are an inevitable result of an influx of impoverished immigrants to Russia and denied the existence of strong anti-Armenian sentiment among the Russians. “Just a few days ago, three Armenians became members of Russia’s Academy of Sciences, while another Armenian received the title of national hero of Russia,” he said. “So I don’t agree with the view that all this is directed against Armenians.”

Agence France Presse quoted Galina Kozhevnikova of the Moscow-based anti-racism Sova Center as saying on Wednesday that ethnic hatred motivated 18 murders and 129 attacks in the country this year. She said 10 of those murders were committed in Moscow and four more in Russia's second largest city, Saint Petersburg. Sova reported 28 such deaths last year.

Few of the perpetrators of those killings have been arrested and brought to justice. Human rights activists say Russian law-enforcement agencies and courts have so far failed to crack down skinhead groups that operate in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and other parts of the country in a climate of near-impunity.

          Perhaps a clue...

Annually Azeri Criminal Groupings in Russia Assign $50 Million for Murders of Armenians

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ “Annually Azeri criminal groupings assign $50 million for the organization of murders of Armenians,” Russia FM’s Advisor for Nationalities in 1999-2001 Vsevolod Maryan stated during round-table discussions dedicated to the crimes committed in Russia through national hatred. In his words, the situation should be given a straightforward account. “The reports of press are a tiny part of what’s really going on. At least 3000 Armenians were killed in Russia during recent ten years,” Maryan said.

In his opinion, the crimes through national hatred originate from the collapse of the USSR. But if at that times they were spontaneous, now “they are organized by a ruling grouping, not only Russian but the Azeri one as well.” “Anyone, rich or poor, can fall victim to nationalist policy in Russia. It will concern not the “persons of Caucasian nationality”, as Yuri Lujkov (the Mayor of Moscow) called them, but Armenians,” Vsevolod Maryan considers.

He motivates it by the fact that “while Armenian honestly earn money Azeris establish contacts with powerful structures in Russia”. That is why the killed Caucasians turn out to be Armenians. “Armenians are deliberately killed in Russia in order to drive the last nail into the coffin in the South Caucasus,” Vsevolod Maryan resumed, reported IA Regnum.

you want to reveal the fact that azeris have complicity in this crimes.I think this derives from animosity between azeris and azrmenians.can it be superstition?because armenians always like to blame on azeris.hahaha

It won't fly like that in the real world, is all I'm saying. People in general don't sit and read books on this, they go by what they know. Blame it on Nazis for tainting the word. Aryan, Aryan-Nordic..e/w they claimed.

On topic, Russians really don't care cause they want internal conflict. Don't ask me why, but it amounts to something in the end. If it didn't they would of done doing something about it. Divide and conquer? Anyway, this is been going on for a while, my cousin got jumped by them a few years ago in Moscow too.
YOu have a point but you also have to rmember that Nais thought of Armenian as very Aryan, there was even an Armenian SS regiment.
