    ):
    I had a feeling thanx.
"All truth passes through three stages:
    First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."

Yes Armenia is a very Third World country coupled by extreme poverty as a result of the collapse of the former Soviet Union.

All former Soviet Republics have suffered enormously and still continue today even worse, look at Moldova. It's poorer then Iraq, and heavily sanctioned Iran. Moldova is by far one of the worlds most extremely poorest countries. Moldova is poorer then most parts of Sub Saharan Africa.

Compared to my Countries GDP of USD$48,427.283 at Nominal compared to an awful USD$1,727.022 Nominal.

Armenia's per capita does not fare well at all with a very very low per capita of $USD 3,152.038 Nominal. Armenia's per capita is ahead even though not by much of $1,425.016 when compared to the Moldovans.

Very sad looking sight for all the former Soviet Republics

Re: How Can We Help Armenia?

The best way to help Armenia is for the diaspora to send money, teachers, and materials back to Armenia to help build up the country in information technology, industry, build up healthcare, education and social services and of course made a hard effort to rid Armenia of corruption.

John I posted this several months ago, you know, it is quoted below.

I see you are eager to discuss "poor" Armenian's living standards and prostituts. And you spend a lot of time at posting the same thing in this forum.

            Are you unemployed?

The worldwide economic crisis doesn’t affect very much Armenia, I don’t know how rich you are but most of Armenians here are not poor, although the economic situation is affected by the crisis. If you visit Armenia you will see how distant your thoughts are from reality. Last year most significant donations have been made by Armenian residents to All Armenian Fund, as opposed to the past, and the medium and small size donations have been increased as well. But we all appreciate our Diaspora fellow Armenians contribution to All Armenian assistance fund especially the ones made during the period 1991-2006 Armenian economic collapse.

In addition note please that the non Armenian origin prostitutes abroad have their Labor Unions, but Armenians have not that much prospered in the area, therefore they don’t have the Union yet. It means that you would better talk about the organized ones.

Please don’t cry for poor Armenia residents and prostitutes, no need. The other nations, with bigger problems in the area, always conceal them, but alas we advertise our small one.

            Small one deserves small talk.

Let’s talk about worldwide unemployment and who can do what for the fellow Armenians in Armenia and abroad.

Please come and see Armenia, now you can’t see much NGO/PVO activity here; the times had passed and therefore you moved out.

            Regards,

            Gegev

Apparently JohnCanadian lives in a cave and has never seen poor people or prostitutes in Canada.

                      just tell me
you have been to iran? yes its turkey im sure
the whole world depends on irans petrol by selling it to most of EU and america and all of asian countrys expect the ones who already have iran gains HUGE money
this is one of reasons that USA dont dare to attack iran cause during war time the petrol will not be transported to outside of iran and many countrys will lack it
come and live in armenia so you will know why we like iran here
im gonna believe haykakan when he said:Army is a turck thus he is bias.
