Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Fortunately there are influencial people out there who will never let something like that to happen, and if they find out that a politician even thinks about it then they will chop his head off.

Amrotz, Levon and his HHSh party have been more-or-less running on the platform of abandoning Artsakh and ridding Armenia of Artsakh Armenians. If there are influential people that would never allow something like that to happen why hasn't his head been chopped off already? Even now, after bringing Armenia to the brink of disaster, why aren't they going after him?

They are friend. It just takes some political manuvering. This state of emergency gives the authorites a chance to destroy the danger. Many have been arrested, and when it comes to levon the authorities are being political about it. There is no other way. I think he will be exiled from armenia, and maybe later on killed by a "common criminal"

Who do you mean exactly? The main perpetrators of this crime have not yet been arrested. Even three of them are in some unknown place- might have fled the country. They are responsible for the deaths of people, massive disorder and chaos in the country; I don't understand how on earth these criminals could flee so easily??? Unbelievable..
The authorities are perhaps to blame here. Maintaining order and restoring a temporary stability is one important thing- that they did well- but bringing the Criminal Clown ( and his cheer leaders) to justice is a much more important issue in order to create a permanent (and relative) stability and continuity in Armenia.

Armenian law-enforcement agencies to bring charge against Levon Ter-Petrosyan?

Law enforcement agencies of Armenia are preparing to bring charges against ex-presidential contender, first president of the republic Levon Ter-Petrosyan, minister of justice of Armenia Gevork Danielyan stated to France Press.

“According to the today's situation, the law-enforcement agencies have sufficient grounds to start criminal proceedings regarding Levon Ter-Petrosyan,” the minister said. “The investigation will show, what exactly the charge is going to be,” he said, adding that ex-president has moved from the political field to the criminal one.

Meanwhile, the justice ministry's spokeswoman Lana Mshetsyan explained in an interview to REGNUM that the minister, while answering the FP question, stressed that the subject was not in his competence. “However, he has pointed out as a lawyer that there are grounds for starting criminal proceedings, whereas the investigation will show the rest,” Mshetsyan commented. “Whether the persecution is being prepared or not, is not in the competence of the minister, and Gevork Danielyan has not spoken on that,” she said.

                  Two more arrests.

Armenia detains opposition figures after clashes

                  Ararat Zurabyan

Armenia's National Security Service said on Tuesday it had detained two leading opposition figures, part of a clampdown on those suspected of staging protests that left eight people dead. Armenian President Robert Kocharyan imposed emergency rule this month after the eight were killed in clashes between police and demonstrators protesting his ally's victory in a presidential poll. It was the worst civil violence in Armenia since the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union. Opposition challenger Levon Ter-Petrosyan, who is a former president, refused to recognise defeat in the Feb. 19 election and blamed police brutality for the violence. Alexander Arzumanyan, his campaign chief, as well as Ararat Zurabyan, a leader of the Armenian National Movement, which supported Ter-Petrosyan, were detained, a spokeswoman for the National Security Service said.

                  Alexander Arzumanian

The police also said arrest warrants for two members of parliament and an opposition newspaper editor had been issued. Two deputies were arrested last week after their immunity was revoked by parliament. The Prosecutor-General said at least 53 people had been arrested as part of an investigation into the protests, which it calls riots and says were aimed at a forceful takeover of power in the Caucasus state. "The responsibility for the events lies on the shoulders of those people who in the course of nine days provoked the people into mass disorder," president-elect Serzh Sarksyan, who is currently prime minister, told reporters.

Armenia's Constitutional Court rejected on Saturday the opposition's assertion that Kocharyan rigged the Feb. 19 election in favour of Sarksyan, who officially won with 53 percent of the vote against 21.5 percent for Ter-Petrosyan. Western powers have urged Armenia to lift the emergency laws and on Monday Kocharyan did lift minor provisions of the laws, a move welcomed by the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly. "I now call upon the authorities to lift the remaining provisions ... especially those that limit the freedom of the media," John Prescott, who led the assembly's observer mission to Armenia, said in a statement. He called for all sides to recognise the Constitutional Court's ruling on the election. (Reporting by Hasmik Mkrtchyan, writing by Guy Faulconbridge, editing by Elizabeth Piper)

Of course, he's scary; he's a bully who incarnates the text-book example of Psychosis - megalomania, paranoia, projection, conspiracy theories etc...?
Furthemore, have you noticed how familiar he seems to be with certain medication while his understanding of psychological/psychiatric concepts is at best mediocre? What do you think that suggests?

As for his hideous mindset, it is just a reminder of the unfortunate influence of jurkish values and culture on a portion of the Armenian populations, and will be buried in the past - where it belongs - by future generations.
It is amusing that he - and his kind - consider themselves more "Armenian???" than others!
What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

Armenia's ex-president Levon ter-Petrosyan ready to negotiate with authorities
                      Read it in Russian

Ex-president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan is not going to retreat and will use all legal means to struggle against the current regime. As Ter-Petrosyan announced at a news conference in Yerevan, opposition will continue communicating with people, either at rallies or, if possible, through the media. He said that if he was granted an opportunity to talk on TV, the there would be no need to rally. “It would be better if the audience grew larger and made 3mln, not 300,000,” he said. Ter-Petrosyan has warned that, in case he receives no publicity, the opposition will find a way to make themselves audible to the people and will succumb again to issuing DVDs.

According to Ter-Petrosyan, opposition activists are still being arrested, and exclusively on political-repressionist grounds. Ter-Petrosyan does not rule out that he may be detained, too. However, he has said he is going neither to say anything to investigation, nor to sign protocols.

At the same time, he confirmed his commitment to the agenda set by international organizations, in particular, releasing all detainees, guaranteeing freedom of media, performing an international investigation of events of March 1-2, 2008, after which negotiation could be started.

Regardless of whether he accepts or not legitimacy of the acting authorities — the government is a political factor, and one should talk with it, Ter-Petrosyan maintains. “The world for a long time had not recognized legitimacy of Yasser Arafat, but still had been negotiating with him. Today, the world does not recognize legitimacy of the president of Nagorno Karabakh but speaks to him,” Ter-Petrosyan observed. “I will not recognize legitimacy of Serzh Sarkisyan, but I cannot ignore him, neither can he ignore me, for the people support me,” stressed Ter-Petrosyan. He has added that even if Sarkisyan disregards the fact now, he will have to do it at some point.

Ter-Petrosyan has also said he does not rule out international interference, in case Armenia “chooses a way of dictatorship.” He said the international community would then impose certain sanctions on Armenia, in particular, impose a stricter visa regulations or exclude the country from certain programs.

                      --------------

This is LTP's way of asking the international community to weaken Armenia...More proof that this man is dangerous for Armenia's survival.
