You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)

- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

there they go...I was just wondering whether there could be something more pathetic than an Azeri...guess NOT

Azerbaijan President Vows "Total Offensive" Against Armenia

BAKU, Azerbaijan (AFP)--Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev on Monday vowed a policy of "total offensive" against neighboring Armenia during a hardline speech ahead of the presidential election this week.

"As long as our territory is under occupation, we will follow a policy of a total offensive against Armenia in the political, economic, military and transport sectors," Aliyev said.

Azerbaijanis take to the polls Wednesday to elect a new president and Aliyev, the son of the country's first post-Soviet president, is the favorite since the opposition is boycotting the vote.

Nagorny Karabakh, a mountainous territory of 150,000 inhabitants, declared independence from Azerbaijan in 1991. The conflict over Karabakh killed tens of thousands and forced 1 million people to leave their homes.

Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a ceasefire in 1994 but have broken off all economic and diplomatic relations pending a resolution of the province's future status. Skirmishes along the border are frequent.

World-famous Indesit removes map, challenging territorial integrity of Azerbaijan from the website - PHOTO - UPDATED
          20 October 2008 [15:50]

Indesit has removed a map of Azerbaijan without Nakhchivan and Nagorno Karabakh from its official service-website in several hours after we posted an article about it.

The company has received over 900 letters from the Day.Az readers.

          --------------

World-famous Indesit has made a mistake on its website regarding Azerbaijan, posting the map of Azerbaijan without Nagorno Karabakh and Nakhchivan, says a letter from a Day.Az reader.

According to it, the website of the company fixes Azerbaijan in a section "Service centers". If we follow the link "Azerbaijan", service centers in our country as well as the so-called map of Azerbaijan open. Why do we say "the so-called"? Because this map has nothing to do with Azerbaijan. Nagorno Karabakh is marked with a white spot and Nakhchivan is completely absent there.

"I believe that owing to Day.Az and letters of your permanent readers this mistake will be corrected soon. No one, either a country, a company or a person, has a right to distort the map of our country", says the letter.

Indesit is among "three" European producers of home appliances. The company produces appliances marked Indesit, Hotpoint, Ariston and Scholtes. In 2007 the turnover of the company made EUR 3,438,000,000. It has over 17,000 employees.

Biggest Russian internet-portal MAIL.RU again challenges the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan - PHOTO
            27 October 2008 [11:50] - Today.Az
We have previously reported that the biggest internet-portal of Russia MAIL.RU, providing services of cheap calls throughout the world, fixed Nagorno Karabakh as an independent state, thus, separating it from Azerbaijan de-facto in the section of tariffs.

But today the Day.Az news agency received a letter from reader from Moscow Ruslan Ismailov, who said that pro-Armenian moods are still present in MAIL.RU.

The letter reads that Russian website MAIL.RU again recognized Nagorno Karabakh as part of Armenia.

"The section about tariffs reads: "Armenia - Nagorno Karabakh", which makes it possible to call to Nagorno Karabakh again", says the letter.

MAIL.RU playing a smeary game with Azerbaijan - PHOTO

              28 October 2008 [11:30] - Today.Az

Armenian officials of one of the biggest Internet portals of Russia MAIL.RU, staking on the good neighbor relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, decided to play a smeary game with our country.

This is a game, where the main rule is the complete non-observance of moral, ethical and other norms, peculiar of normal people.

This pro-Armenian site (it is impossible to call MAIL.RU otherwise) is again deliberately distorting information about Azerbaijan, challenging the territorial integrity of our country.

Yesterday, Day.Az posted a material, according to which MAIL.RU, providing information about services on cheap calls throughout the world, fixed Nagorno Karabakh as part of Armenia, thus separating it from Azerbaijan de-facto in the section on tariffs.

Day.Az called on all the readers, not indifferent to our country, to write a letter of protest to the aforementioned company. The readers launched a campaign on sending the letters with protests. And in the evening we discovered that the mistake on the website was corrected.

Yet, to the great regret and disappointment, today the Day.Az officials found out that a link on "Armenia Artsakh" has appeared on the website in place of the "Armenia-Nagorno Karabakh" link.

Yesterday Day.Az received a letter from the adviser of the embassy of Azerbaijan to Russia B.Zeynalov which read that after getting the information about the mistake on the MAIL.RU internet portal, the embassy of Azerbaijan to Russia sent the due appeal addressed to the director of the portal Oleg Ilichev.

Moreover, the embassy official contacted with the company and held a detailed explanatory work.

He stressed the illegality of distortion of information about Azerbaijan within its internally recognized borders and demanded to be further attentive to the information, posted on the portal.

As is seen, this interference was not effective and MAIL.RU again fixed Karabakh as part of Armenia, calling it Artsakh.

We call on the Azerbaijani embassy to Russia to interfere with this issue and react sharply on the unprecedented respect of the MAIL.RU portal towards our country.

The situation has reached the point of marasmus, when Armenian officials of the Russian company deliberately cause differences in the good neighbor relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.

We call on both the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan to send an official letter of protest to MAIL.RU, threatening to the said pro-Armenian company to completely close its access in Azerbaijan.

We will continue closely watching the developments.

Re: Armenia and the information war

The "azeri" information war and threat to our national security is so severe and urgent that even the Levonakan media is covering it. If Levonakans see it, then we must all wake up as well. We are talking about giving lands to "azeris" while they talk about WESTERN "AZERBAIJAN"!

                AZERI MINISTER COMES FROM NOYEMBERYAN

                [12:19 pm] 03 November, 2008

After the October 1, 2008, Presidential election in Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev replaced Heydar Babayev on the position of Minister of Economic Development.

According to Day.az “the new minister was born in the region of Noyemberyan in Western Azerbaijan.”

Azeris have developed a bad habit of “appropriating and distorting their neighbour's history and culture.” The region of Noyemberyan belongs to Armenia from ancient times. Recently some spiritual and historic building on the frontier region have been captured by Azeris, among them the church of St. Sarkis built by Mesrop Mashtots.

When did they capture the above mentioned church and why weren't they repelled? Was the Church closer to their zone of control?
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

well yes, alyev is kurdish (fact) and he was born on the fringes of Nakhichevan, so there is a make up, fake state trying to invent its own history and geography. Pathetic

Noyemberyan is extremely close to the "azeri" border http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noyemberyan

Haven't heard much about this capture though.
