Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has appealed to the world community on the Day of Azerbaijani Genocide.
On behalf of millions of citizens of Azerbaijan, by this statement I want to appeal to the whole progressive humankind regardless of the nationality and religious belonging and draw attention to the tragic pages of Azerbaijani history that occurred with us in the past century.
The tragic events of the Azerbaijani people in the 20th century is one of the most painful wounds of the great history of Azerbaijan, reads the statement of the head of the Caucasus Muslims Department to the world community on occasion of the Day of Azerbaijani Genocide.
'Throughout a century Azerbaijani people have been a victim of smeary plans of the Armenian state which is constantly violating the principles of peaceful co-existence. Armenia twice committed genocide of Azerbaijanis last century.
The tragedy that occurred 92 years ago is an incredible crime against Azerbaijanis whose bloody traces are kept in mass burials. Unfortunately, these purposeful bloody actions committed against Azerbaijan and its people haven’t received their political and legal assessment for years. No measures were taken to avert new crimes', the appeal says.
'Though the tragedy of Khojaly which added to history as the most inhumane crime occurred not so long ago – in 1992, it has not been condemned by the world community. But we do not lose hope that the world community will condemn Armenia and share our grief. We also hope that the truth will expose the real face of Armenia as a country committing genocide and presenting territorial claims to its neighbors.
We call on the world community not to stay indifferent to the tragedies of Azerbaijan and assist in the just settlement of the Karabakh conflict. This is a sacred duty of every person for the sake of conscience', the document says.

its a very touching statement. First is was one genocide now two. They saw no one cared about Khojaly so now Armenians committed another genocide.
PS: love the picture of the guy, lol.
