You also may not:

- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or

If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

The Orujovs, who applied for asylum in Armenia, are in Yerevan

    05 February 2014 17:35
Baku. Victoria Dementeva – APA. Azerbaijani Javid Orujov and his family members, who have applied for asylum in Armenia, are currently in Yerevan, press service of Armenian National Security Service said, APA reports quoting Armenian service of Radio Liberty.

The whereabouts of family are not publicized due to security reasons.

Head of Armenia's State Migration Service Gagik Yeganyan confirmed that the Orujovs had applied for asylum, underlined that the application was being investigated.

“The main goal of the investigation is to determine the truth of the facts, determine whether these persons are threatened or not," he said.

Asked how Armenia having no diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan would clarify it, Yeganyan said it was not a problem.

"Our employees have relevant sources and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees is assisting us," he said.

According to Yeganyan, if it is proved that Javid Orujov tells the truth, of course, this family will be granted asylum in Armenia.

On January 29, Azerbaijani citizen, 37-year-old Javid Orujov with his wife and three children applied for asylum in Armenia. The family explained they took this step because of the persecutions in Azerbaijan. The persecutions started after he got married with Baku resident, 31-year-old Roya Mirzayeva, who is allegedly Armenian. According to Armenian media reports, earlier, Orujov failed to get an asylum in the European countries. Azerbaijan has not commented on this issue.

Pakistani Ambassador: “Kashmir and Nagorno Karabakh have been occupied”

      05 February 2014 11:35
Baku. Shamil Alibeyli – APA. “I am glad to be in Azerbaijan. Our countries are close to each other.

I noted at the meeting with President Ilham Aliyev that though Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan are three different countries they have one nation. We have high-level political relations and we should raise the level of economic relations as well,” newly-appointed Pakistani ambassador to Azerbaijan Khalid Usman Qaiser said at the press conference, APA reports.

The Ambassador added that the President Ilham Aliyev enjoys great respect in Pakistan: “Pakistan recognizes Azerbaijan's position on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, therefore doesn’t recognize Armenia as a state. We are the only state that doesn’t recognize Armenia. We welcome Azerbaijan’s support on the Kashmir issue.”

Touching on the similarities between Kashmir and Nagorno Karabakh issues, Qaiser said that Kashmir and Nagorno Karabakh have been occupied: “The second similarity on these issues are the facts that human rights, international law have been violated, UN Security Council resolutions have not been implemented, demographic changes have been made in the occupied territories. Human rights are consistently violated in Kashmir, thousands of people have been taken hostage or have gone missing. All international organizations are aware of it, but keep silence.”

Asked how Pakistan can assist in the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Ambassador said Pakistan's legislative bodies adopted resolutions condemning occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia.
“Moreover, Pakistan is supporting Azerbaijan in the international arena. Azerbaijan is doing the same. Azerbaijan is a member of the Contact Group on Kashmir of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and we are cooperating towards the resolution of these problems,” he said.

Touching on the economic relations, the diplomat said establishment of Azerbaijan-Pakistan joint venture, mutual investments were discussed at the meeting with President.

“We want Pakistani businessmen to come to Azerbaijan and see the opportunities here. Pharmaceutical, textile industries are very strong in Pakistan. We are also competitive in the production of sports products. European Games will be held in Baku next year. I will do my best to attract Pakistani businessmen to this sphere," he said.
Speaking about launching direct flights between the two countries, Ambassador said currently, Pakistan International Airlines company can not operate such flights.
“We have offered Turkish Airlines to launch Istanbul-Baku-Islamabad flights. We have put forward these proposals,” he said.

Three more Azerbaijani fighters killed in Syria

        05 February 2014 12:28
Baku. Hafiz Heydarov. Three more Azerbaijani citizens have been killed in Syria, says the websites owned by mujahideen, APA reports.

The three Azerbaijanis, who fought under the Al-Nusra Front, were reportedly killed by government forces.

Mujahideen have posted their photos on the Internet.
Though the names of the two killed Azerbaijanis have not been revealed, the other's name is reportedly Urfan. It is also reported that another brother of Urfan was killed in Afghanistan a few years ago.
As the situation became tense a large number of Azerbaijani citizens started to go Syria and fight against the government forces within various radical groups. Nearly 100 Azerbaijanis were killed in the battles during this period. Photos of most of them were posted on social networks by the Mujahideen.

I went to a Paki mosque for a lecture by Finkelstein on Palastinian issues and they were surprised to see an Armenian there. I did not know the Paki stance on Armenian issues at the time and i did get some dirty looks but most of them were nice and interested.

              Direct Connection from Shushi
              Wednesday, 23 October 2013 16:36

First Time a Joint Training in Artsakh

Today, on October 23, a direct connection was established from the Crisis Management Center of MES with Shushi, NKR, where from 21-23 of October, a joint Command Post training on “Organization and implementation of rescue and rehabilitation works during the aftermath of a strong earthquake in Shushi region , NKR” was conducted.

To follow the process of the training, today, the president of NKR Bako Sahakyan, the minister of Emergency Situations of RA Armen Yeritsyan and members of the Governments of RA and NKR visited Shushi.

From MES Crisis Management Center, deputy director of R/S Major-General, Nikolay Grigoryan reported to the president of NKR Bako Sahakyan and ES Minister, who were following the training process, about the latest emergency accidents registered during the week.

Welcoming the participants of the telecommunication from the tent city President of NKR Bako Sahakyan mainly noted:

“Soon the second phase of the Command Post training will end. Overall, I highly appreciate the progress and results of the training. It was the first time that such kind of joint training was organized by our two republics. And such trainings, of course, not only contribute our country’s security, but also formed an empowered and prosperous state. We have already agreed with MES of RA to establish a crisis management center in rescue service of NKR, and I think in the near future we'll be able to establish a direct connection from Artsakh crisis management center”.

ES Minister A. Yeritsyan, speaking about the process of the training, highlighted the importance of the implementation of the training for both countries.
“I positively appreciate the process of the training and think, that our boys had fulfilled their tasks”, - noted ES Minister.

Deputy director of R/S Major-General V. Gabrielyan presented the latest data about the process of the training:

“The training was going on according to the idea. Participating response forces were in the tent city. In all 19 training centers practical works were being implemented. This training was a very good opportunity once again to test our abilities and to assess the needs”, added V. Gabrielyan.

As a channel, MES had used the network formed on the basis of departmental optical fiber, which included also the rescue service of Stepanakert, NKR. Karabakh Telecom 3G high-speed connection was used from Shushi to Stepanakert and for the emergency situations surveillance and monitoring, for the first time was used a device without a pilot. At the end of the Telecommunication, participating journalists received the answers to their questions.

Don't bother yourself over what these backward idiotic imbeciles think. That wasteland of a nation annually makes the list of most unstable and failed governments in the world, and will continue to be the backward xxxxhole that it is for a long long time. Its only contribution to the world is the continuous production of self exploding nut cases and the rat infestation for Europe.

Man Accused Of Spying For Azerbaijan

Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) reported on Wednesday the arrest of an Armenian man accused of spying for Azerbaijan.

In a statement, the NSS said that the 60-year-old suspect, Khachik Martirosian, is a retired senior police officer who offered to collaborate with Azerbaijani intelligence and was recruited by it last August. It claimed that intelligence officers working under diplomatic cover at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia assigned him to collect “information of military nature” in Armenia.

“Martirosian intended to pass information collected by him on to the Azerbaijanis but that was thwarted by NSS bodies,” read the statement. He was arrested on January 31, it said.

Martirosian has most probably been formally charged with high treason. It is not yet clear whether he will plead guilty to the grave accusation.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of National Security was quick to dismiss the NSS claims. “We don’t know such a person,” Haqqin.az quoted a ministry spokesman as saying.

Armenians and Azerbaijanis have periodically been arrested and imprisoned on charges of spying for the enemy intelligence. Last July, two ethnic Armenian residents of Nagorno-Karabakh received lengthy prison sentences on espionage charges stemming from their communication with an obscure foreigner through a Russian online social network. They said they never thought that they are collaborating with an Azerbaijani intelligence officer and therefore do not consider themselves guilty of high treason.

Why didn’t they keep his arrest secret and use him to feed false information to the other side.

Over time once the Azerbaboons realise the Armenian tactics, they will always doubt information they are getting,
                    making such sources next useless.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests
