NKR needs to establish larger buffer zones and have the permission to give chase to enemy operating inside Artsakh to inside Azeri held territory as they flee and make arrests.
ARM Defence Minister`s meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs

On February 5, ARM Minister of Defence Seyran Ohanyan received the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Ambassadors Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Jacques Faure of France, and James Warlick of the United States of America, and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.
The parties discussed the current situation and developments on the front line. With regard to recent subversive reconnaissance actions of the Azerbaijan`s Armed Forces ARM Defence Minister noted that those actions come in violation of the established understanding to maintain cease fire along the Line of Contact once again reaffirmed last year in November and stressed the importance of assessment of such incidents. ARM Defence Minister urged the Co-Chairs intensify their efforts and assign necessary resources and experts to develop incident investigation mechanisms.
Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan also informed the Co-Chairs that the Investigative Service of the ARM MoD initiated a criminal case and launched investigation into simultaneous attempts of incursion by the enemy on January 20th in the Northeast and Southeast parts of the frontline.
The sides emphasized the necessity to observe the ceasefire.
