Azerbaijani President issues order on conscription

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today signed an order on conscriptionr of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan into the active military service and transfer of the servicemen from active military service to reserve units on July 1-30, 2015, APA reports.

Under the order, the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan born in 1997 who are 18 years of age on the day of conscription, as well as those born in 1980-1996 and are under the age of 35 and citizens of Azerbaijan Republic who have no rights of deferral of services in the republic’s armed forces and other military formations are to be conscripted into active military service on July 1-30, 2015.

Consequently, the soldiers, seamen and sergeants who served a term of service envisaged by the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "On military service" are to be discharged on July1-30, 2015.

^^^^looks like a good training setup for our flight students.....Also it seems to be alot of emphasis training on a real aircraft rather than a mock up or even ground simulator. Very well, make it your second nature, wear the aircraft instead of sitting in it.

Nothing of significance to gain ( let's be realistic the only thing we can gain from a new war in Artsakh is taking over ganja and going all the way up to the kur river and making our army defend less land but even this is not a walk in the park but manageable and achievable with the cost of innocent Armenians we know azeri dogs have no value for life but we Armenians do.)

Artsakh getting bombed / damaged and rebuilding again it's not easy.


It's not worth it for us to Attack IMO nothing of significant value to attack and take over or put us in a better position(apart from the option i said before but really who needs that when its going to cost us a lot of lives.)

However If Azerdogs decide to attack and get smart and try do something like attack Armenia proper you can bet all your money on anything that Armenia will wipe out Azer and potentially blow up Mingachevir or sabotage it to the point its finished. don't think at that point Armenia would give a flying fk about what other countries will say when it faces another genocide - let's put it this way if we can't live peacefully in that region the region where we have lived for thousands of years no monkey can

First things that will be out of commission should azeri attack is all airport military runways. then comes oil/gas.

Part of the reason why Armenia won't attack is - why risk going into a trap and fighting on the dogs terms? If they want it let them come and get blown up on our terms.

“If our occupied territories are not liberated, the army should at any moment be ready for war”

Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov held a meeting at the Central House of Officers with young officers undergoing training on the relevant military specialties, the defense ministry told APA on Saturday.

Speaking about the tasks ahead, the minister said the main objective of the country’s leadership is to achieve the liberation of our occupied territories by further strengthening the combat capability of the Armed Forces.

Recalling President Ilham Aliyev’s statements “The war is not over, it continues and we should liberate our occupied territories by all means,” Minister Hasanov told the young officers who will soon be assigned to military units that their main duty is mobilizing the personnel that are under their command to fulfill this important task.

“Instilling military skills and patriotism in the personnel, you have at any time to mobilize them to fight with the enemy forces. Do not forget, if our occupied territories are not liberated, the army should at any moment be ready for war. Azerbaijan’s combat power is gradually increasing thanks to the support from the state and the people. Our armed forces are equipped with modern military equipment, new tanks and armored combat vehicles. However, these modern weapons and equipment need to be used skillfully,” the minister added.

As for the escalation of the situation on the front line in the summer of last year and during the current year, the defense minister noted that in this period our army has once again proven its combat power.

Recalling President Ilham Aliyev’s remarks during an official reception on the occasion of the Republic Day - Recently, starting from the summer of last year, the Azerbaijani army has secured full advantage on the contact line and dealt the enemy some crushing blows. Today, the Armenian government already recognizes that it is impossible to resist Azerbaijan without outside assistance. We always say to them: if you do not want to die, then leave Nagorno-Karabakh and other occupied lands. Otherwise, Armenia will continue to live in constant fear, anxiety, hysteria and panic, and the day will come when the Azerbaijani army will have to say its word” – the minister said, Armenia suffering heavy losses once again realized that Azerbaijan has become a real military power.

The minister underlined the attention and care of the state to the Armed Forces, noting that in the modern period, funds on a significant scale are allocated from the country’s military budget to the social sphere.

At the end of his speech, Minister Hasanov wished the young officers success and expressed confidence that the knowledge they gained will contribute to further strengthening the country’s defense capacity.

The minister then responded to the young officers’ questions and gave his instructions and recommendations.
